FNAR Pricing / Original MSRP

Hi all,
I may be picking up a FNAR this weekend, if I can find a good price. Gunbroker and Gunsamerica have them for between $1300 and $1400; which I think is close to fair, but any money I save can go towards the glass

Anyone remember the original MSRP for this? Before the November craziness started? I'm wondering if prices still have a ways to drop. Case and point: in February they were going for $1800 at gun shows (which is why I passed then).

I wonder if they are sub $1000 yet... probably not.

Still trying to decide if I want a FNAR H-or-L. Going to outpost the rifle at one of my bugout locations, use it mainly for white-tail while I'm up there, but has to double-duty as a defensive weapon for SHTF.

For this reason, FNAR seems the logical choice for doing both, as long as the 5-round magazines are compliant for hunting deer. I know in a lot of states Fish and Game laws/regulations limit magazine capacity on semi-auto rifles.

Has anyone ever put 20 rounds of 7.62 through a FNAR-L on rapid fire? I'd imagine the barrel gets pretty toasty.

Check cdnninvestments.com out. I seem to recall them having a very good price and it came with accessories. Plus shipping is only $9.99. I would let you know which page of their catalog it was on but I have been at work for 23hrs straight and still have 13hrs left to go :facepalm: so I will post more info tomorrow if you need it.

Uhh.. yeah.

On the rapid fire question, the answer would be that it wouldn't be toastier than any other barrel. It will be completely fine.
