I currently carry my Five Seven in a Crossbreed holster, and have recently discovered some unintended problems. The hooks that hold the holster to my pants are now putting holes into my pants.
Is there any other good IWB holsters I should consider as I have now gone through two pairs of pants.
Thank you.

I've been carrying in a CompTac MTAC for years, I've never had a problem with it wearing holes in my clothing.

Have been using CrossBreeds for years and have never had an issue like that, but heard of others having the same issue.

Re: Holster
Doesn't the Crossbreed use metal clips? MTAC uses plastic ones.
I would think metal clips would cause more wear on fabrics than plastics.

CrossBreed uses metal as you said, but it's a lighter metal and coated. Going on over 3 years of using them ( semi local business ) for my Glock, 5.7, XD, 1911, and M&P'sRapier1772 wrote:Doesn't the Crossbreed use metal clips? MTAC uses plastic ones.

I'm a big fan of Alien Gear now. My Foxx holster wasn't wearing into my pants, but there must have been a burr on the corner of the clip because it wore holes into a few of my shirts. I just put a piece of tape over the edges and it stopped being a problem.
Re: Holster
Thanks for all the help. I really like my holster, but it will be expensive to keep replacing my pants. The clips seem to like to damage Dockers.

I wore my FsN in a Crossbreed supertuck for years. Not only did the clips tear my pants, but holes developed where the exposed accessory rail protruded.
The Alien Gear holster resolved both those issues and also holds the FsNs more snuggly against me. Of course "snuggling" with the aggressively checkered grip could be an issue if you're not impervious to pain.

And Talon grips will resolve the aggressive grip without adding bulk like my Hogue did
Re: Holster
blade tech makes a holster for the five-7 that worked well. I have three of these holsters. one for fn-57, one for a glock 41 and one for a 1911. all work well.
