Re: Talk About Kicking A Guy When He's Down
I would really love to be able to single out these libs & ingrates, remove any/all form of protection they enjoy - police, military, concealed carriers, etc... Then see how strong they are in their "beliefs" when trouble comes calling.
If I was any sort of an artist, I would make my own cartoon about that. Maybe I'll plagiarize part of a couple drawings & photoshop them together? Using my own version of the conversation of course.
Let's see... I'll need enemies/terrorists invading, bullets flying, criminals stealing, rapists, & other violent stuff for the BGs. Then something for the libs & ingrates - people protesting outside of funerals, cars w/gun control bumper stickers, obama signs  , maybe caricatures of bloomberg & buddies. And finally, MIL/LEO & concealed carriers trying to protect everyone from all of the threats. But as one sheepdog tries to protect lib/ingrate another one stops him/her & says something like, "No, not that one."
Obviously I would need to put in more words to fully explain what's happening.

I know we've all seen this before, but I think it's worth reposting here because it pretty much sums up what you said Rapier...

Greenberg, that's exactly the kind of thing I am talking about except that it needs to be able to identify the individuals while roaming about in public. Like a picket sign or maybe a campaign button sort of thing - but in the cartoon I was going to make, it has to be obvious.

Re: Talk About Kicking A Guy When He's Down
Wouldn't it be funny if you could identify a gun-banner in public then follow them around with a sign like that over their head and an arrow pointing down at them?
How long would it take for them to break down and cry?

They wouldn't. They'd sue you for violating their right to privacy even though that's what they've been doing to us.

Re: Talk About Kicking A Guy When He's Down
Absolutely disgusting...
The Cartoon should be of a small band of Libs (in favor of weapons bans) surrounded by bad guys with guns (with one already dead), pleading for the police chief sitting on the porch of the police station with a gun on his hip saying "Sorry, you banned guns because you are opposed to the violence they cause... I would hate to infringe on your beliefs in order to protect you. Try using this... (as he's holding out a official looking document with the words "gun bans save lives" on it.)

I like it. But the document I would give them is a gun free zone sign :laugh:Hebs wrote:Absolutely disgusting...

It would be great if that lowlife shoplifter did get beaten to with an inch of his life for stabbing a marine.Stitches1974 wrote::thumb: I love it. The artist that drew that cartoon needs to "slip on a curb"
That would be true justice. But I have to call shenanigans on that "news story".
Here is a more accurate account from the Augusta Chronicle. http://chronicle.augusta.com/news/crime ... abs-marine" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
"Shoplifting suspect stabs Marine, police say"
By Bianca Cain and LaTina Emerson
Staff Writers
Friday, Nov. 26, 2010
A Marine collecting Toys for Tots donations at Augusta's Best Buy was stabbed in the back
Friday while helping to subdue a shoplifting suspect. Fellow Marines identified the injured
man as Cpl. Phillip Duggan, 24, who spent part of Black Friday recuperating at Eisenhower
Army Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Tracey Attaway, 39, of Waynesboro, Ga., was jailed and charged with armed robbery,
aggravated assault and possession of a knife in the commission of a crime.
Orvin Smith, a sales manager at Best Buy, said the incident occurred about 1:15 p.m.
when a man was seen on surveillance videos placing a laptop under his jacket. Store staff
asked Attaway to return the merchandise, and the situation began to escalate.
"He was really irate. A whole lot of energy. ... he finally let go of the laptop, ran out the
front door, knocked one of my employees down and pulled out a knife so he could make
sure he could get out the front door," Smith said.
Outside the door were four Marines and seven volunteers collecting donations for Toys for Tots.
"(Duggan) clotheslined him, and after that he kind up got up and started swinging a knife
around," Smith said. Gunnery Sgt. Robert Richie said Attaway "came over the top and got
(Duggan) in the back."
Attaway ran again but didn't get far before Richie, several other Marines and members
of the store's loss-prevention team tackled him in the parking lot and held him until
deputies arrived.
Gunnery Sgt. Sherry Barrera, who also serves as the Toys for Tots coordinator, opted to
close operations for the day. "When a Marine gets injured, we just shut it down, go to the
hospital, make sure he's OK and make sure he gets proper treatment," she said.
Barrera said Duggan joined the unit about three months ago. Although she has had the
opportunity to drill with Duggan only a few times, she said she had heard wonderful things
about him. "My boss, who has served with him before, did say he was an outstanding
Marine," Barrera said.
According to Richmond County authorities, Attaway also tried to steal two digital cameras,
an Xbox game, a PS3 game and a PS3 game controller with a combined value of $1,365.
