As I have posted on the MIL/LEO forum,

I have met epierce, he is a very stand up guy, and members on the MIL/LEO forum have bought multiple firearms from him.

His family is pretty cool, too. :)

The program is designed so that it has to be a Face to Face transaction. Of course, several of the FN LEO dealers are violating this and shipping them all over the place. This is why I haven't signed up for it and I lost a customer over it who I refused his shipment when I found what he had done.

Typical of the FN management.....this kinda crap has really destroyed the market for any of their non-leo dealers and LEOs are buying things near and far and turning around and re-selling them below distributer cost which is also a violation of FN's policy.

Oh well, guess I'll start carrying glocks!

Sorry to hear this Charles, but you know if there is a program based on the "honesty system" it is going to get defrauded. This isn't the America of old, this is the new version. Free markets succeed when there is a minimum level of integrity, but when society loses virtue, new laws have to be created robbing man of liberty....

..whoa I got off on a tangent here... sorry. :cya:

I'm not LEO/MIL;

I was added to offer information from testing EA's LEO/MIL rounds and other meanderings that might aid the good guys in their battle against baddies (& snakes).

Recall that EA offers LEO ammo but blue does a lot of testing for them.
Hence the "EA Pistol Captain" custom title

Actually, I just bake organic blueberry tarts and send them to Jay so that he lets me keep the title.

I hit the like button again for epierce, because he let me shoot the first rounds out of his brand new Kahr.

Don't laugh, but you might be more qualified to bake organic blueberry tarts than offer instruction to law enforcement.

The thought of me offering instruction or advice to law-enforcement is comical to me. I don't offer instruction to any LEO... I'm just there to help out where I can. I'm just a silly kid who doesn't know much about law-enforcement.

However, if I did;

I would say that you are definitely right, I'm more qualified to bake tarts than to offer instruction to SOME law enforcement officers. Because SOME law enforcement officers embarrass the crap out of their brothers in blue and make them wish SOME law enforcement officers, weren't. And for that SOME, anything less than a very effective psycho-therapist would be useless in guiding them, much less giving them instruction.

These aren't my words, these are the words of the LEO's I shoot with each weekend at the matches. Like the one, this morning. Actually, I had to use euphemisms in my speech because the language they use against those SOME officers would not be entertained on the open forum.

So, to sum it all up, I completely agree with you on this point.

Ok, no more talk for me, gotta get the thread back on track. Time for a nap, only had 3 hours of sleep before 3Gun this morning.

Yes, and they are HORRIBLE!
Now, he does make a pretty mean Belgium waffle...and his brownies are worth bragging on. But the tarts? :puke:

And I'm a coffee guy. I've had just about every GOOD and BAD pastry there is.

While I have not tasted his blueberry tarts, I have shared beers with him while looking at lovely ladies. I've also shot with him. If his tarts are anywhere near the level of his shooting, then they are going to be gourmet tarts.

Blue is one talented shooter... he's the real deal. He's also one heluvaguy.

Ok, off to better threads for me. Maybe I'll start one about baking snake-fang tarts...

Being a talented shooter and being qualified to instruct law enforcement or two different things. The former requires a lot of time on a shooting range, the latter requires certification (i.e. being qualified) and/or a lot of time in the field.

So in person he isn't pretentious, haughty, and condescending? That's good to know. Most people don't carry their internet persona into real life.

Just not funny Jeff.

Now, if you would have said, "I gotta go, I hear Fido in the backyard barking up a storm. He's probably found another snake in the garden and I have to get to field dressing it if I am going to have Insalata di serpente in time for dinner."

Now that's funny... :thumb:

NOW, who's being pretentious?
The idea that one MUST be 'certified' by another in order to teach someone something is...ridiculous, to say the least.
I've been in one form of LE or another for over 30 years, and I can tell you that everyone has the capability to learn something from others. Even if its as simple as 'don't be like this person'.
However, in the case of blue? That isn't the case.
He can teach a lot.
And considering that he reps EA who happens to supply a LOT of LE on all the latest and greatest? Blue can teach a LOT when you realize that he is Jay's guinea pig for a lot of R&D.
Be careful where you tread. People with a lot more experience might realize you have an axe to grind. That will get you nowhere. What that axe is, and why you feel the need to grind it? I have no idea. But if won't get you far here.

ShockedNKansas - again with the personal attacks against a member? I had a decent rant written about this & your own history but I'll hold off for now.

Blue never said he instructed LEOs, just provided them with information. In fact, he's flat out denied instructing them. You are the one who brought instructing LEOs into the conversation & won't let it drop.

This thread has drifted far enough from the OP. If someone has something relevant to post then please continue otherwise, take it somewhere else. This is the OP:

Ya, my local gun shop is jumping on this program as of September. I think the PS-90 will be available for about $840. Kind of tempted to get one, but the bottom ejection gets a little annoying when you're just wearing a T-shirt and constantly getting hit in the chest by brass.

Zand, that's a deal you shouldn't pass up! I might even get a second one for that price if I were LEO.

As for the brass, get a brass catcher or make your own.
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/364367 ... tcher-ps90" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I have one for mine & its the 3rd best accessory I've bought:
1. Extra mags
2. REM-T3
3. Brass catcher
Mine holds 2 mags worth but I think those are hard to find any more.
There are also a couple of threads on here about making one for the PS90 - hope you saved your Crown Royal bag :laugh:
