Today I checked the mail, and found my forms for two SBR's and a supressor had arrived. I looked at the date and it had been a year since I submitted them. Our tax dollars at work. I am usually the kind of person who takes thing as they come, but this really gets to me.

Holy poop. My 9mm suppressor was approved the beginning of last month and took 205 days door to door. 1yr would make me REALLY sad.

ATF I guess is too busy with their fast and furious to worry about us law abiding folks....

Seems there's no rhyme or reason to it. I'm at 6 months and my friend gets his back in just a few.

I was gonna buy a suppressor for my FsN, but honestly all the trust nonsense and the wait- let alone the stupid $200 extortion really turned me off.

Hopefully some day they'll do away with all that horse crap.

I wouldn't count on it and with the exclusion of the CLEO signature coming, look for an even longer wait.

My paperwork is still pending since October 20, 2011. I hope I don't have to wait a year! It's already going to be at least another month according to NFA tracker.
