I just got my Crossbreed holsters for my FsN and XD(m)s. I will report back on how they work out after a week or so of constant use, but initial walking and sitting impression:
Standing/walking it is (again, initially) more comfortable on my side as compared to my Blade-tech UHC worn on the small of my back. Sitting at my desk, not so much. I think it's going to take some experimenting/adjusting, especially when I sit slouching as usual
Yeah, that's my dog just before she put her nose on the lens (grrr) - I had to clean it before taking the tucked pics.
Same gun (FsN) tucked. These are two different pics, in slightly different positions. Moving around I could get it to print, but only slightly, and unless you knew what you were looking for... it would not be noticeable.

Re: Crossbreed Supertuck Holsters
looks good, i cant wait to order my crossbreed holsters, how does it conceal with the shirt untucked? and please follow up after they are broke in
Re: Crossbreed Supertuck Holsters
I have pics of my CB somewhere on here of it untucked.
Re: Crossbreed Supertuck Holsters
+1 on the CrossBreed. I just received my SuperTuck for my FsN today. I'm 6'1" and 155lbs and had problems with my TTGunLeather holster printing with a Kimber Ultra Raptor. I figured there was no chance in hell I'd be able to conceal a FsN but ordered the SuperTuck anyway. It's extremely comfortable (especially with the pistol being so light) and is totally concealed. I don't usually tuck my shirt in so I haven't tried it with that, but I tried it untucked with one of my smaller collared shirts and it disappeared. Wish they made one for my Witness P Carry. Highly recommended for FsN.

No, it's not. I didn't get the combat cut because A) it costs more, and B) I figured that I could trim it myself after it gets broken in and if I think it will improve draw speed/ease.srt-4_jon wrote:Is that a combat cut?
I did spend the extra $15 for the horsehide though because I live in Florida and it should handle the sweat better than cowhide.

Re: Crossbreed Supertuck Holsters
I've only tried drawing (gun unloaded) with the shirt in the picture. The shirt is made of very thick cotton and I can tell you the draw when tucked is S-L-O-W. The material got snagged somehow. I will be going to the range wearing a much lighter shirt that I would typically wear to work to practice, practice, practice.darksidemxer wrote:How is your draw speed from the tucked shirt? I'll report back on all the details after it's broken in.
Where to keep an extra mag - that's a good question. I bought these holsters because I am switching jobs and will now have to wear a jacket & tie again (after 10 years of actually being comfortable) and my blade-tech at the small of the back prints really bad with a tucked shirt if I lean forward or bend over. I won't be able to use a mag pouch so I am thinking the extra mag will go in the inside suit jacket pocket...

Re: Crossbreed Supertuck Holsters
If you're wearing a jacket, why do you need to conceal under a tucked shirt? I keep my jacket (if/when I wear one) unbuttoned & no one seems to be the wiser. Or maybe they just don't care here (And its not job related)

The jacket is going to be on and off over the course of the day, plus I will be moving a lot (bending, reaching, etc.). I don't see any option other than tucking unfortunately.
