I was interested in picking up one of the tungsten rate reducers but it's OOS.
Any idea for an ETA on the next run?

They are finishing up n maufacturing right now. then off to the laser engraver. As soon as they ship to the engraver I will have a final count on how many we have, making these is hell on tool cutters, and I will put them up.

Re: PS90 P90 Heavy Duty Tungsten Rate Reducer ETA?
Thanks for the update.
Went back and watched your install video again and you note to not use the EA rate reducer and the HD springs, as the counteract each other.
It begs the question, which one is better to use?
I'm running an SBR'd PS90 with a Saker 556K can and handloaded 40gr ammo that's ~200fps faster than SS197SR. I also tried using 55gr Hornady 55gr FMJBT subs but had the dreaded mag pop on some loads using Alliant Steel.
In my case, would the springs or rate reducer be best for me?

I’ve got the rate reducer and HD mag catch spring (not the HD recoil springs) on my SBR. Have had zero magazine pops w/ a variety of hot reloads as well as S4. Can’t yet speak to performance w/ a can.

The rate reducer and mag catch spring is the way to go.
The recoil springs were created to replace worn out OEM since FN does not sell the springs.

Thanks to both you and Grantness for the feedback. I'll wait for the rate reducer to come back in stock and pick it up along with the bolt disassembly gizmo and the HD mag catch spring.panzermk2 wrote: ↑26 Jan 2023, 09:06towerofpower93 wrote: ↑26 Jan 2023, 04:06Thanks for the update.

PS: your mag catch spring install video is marked private on YouTube. Just went to watch and it said it was set to private. Not sure if that's true or YT is just screwing with you.

YT Deleted my most current one. That might be an old one. Better to watch and follow us here on our Rumble channel for all vids etc.

Just submitted an order for the rate reducer, bolt disassembly jig, a set of snap rings (just in case), and the HD mag catch spring.

Re: PS90 P90 Heavy Duty Tungsten Rate Reducer ETA?
Received all the parts on Friday and took less than 10min today to install the rate reducer and EA clips as well as the mag catch spring. I don’t think I messed up the spring retaining clips when I took them off the bolt guide rods, but figured $5 was cheap insurance and I saved the OEM ones along with the FN rate reducer weight.
Looking forward to try it out in a week or two and see what fired cases measure compared to those fired with the lighter weight from FN.

Those clips are cheap insurance. Did you use the 3D printed tool?

Re: PS90 P90 Heavy Duty Tungsten Rate Reducer ETA?
I did. Made disassembly and reassembly a breeze. It's a well thought out little piece of plastic and I can't imagine trying to disassemble/reassemble without a second set of hands if it wasn't available.
Re: PS90 P90 Heavy Duty Tungsten Rate Reducer ETA?
I wish I had bought one. It’s easy to scratch the guide rods.
