wow, here I was waiting for the screen to open, it opens.... get my order in, go to checkout and wham......first problem, I forgotten my log in data, okay, no problem, I'll send off for it. after all my stuff is in the cart, just waiting to login.....get the email, go and log in, then hit check out and what! it's gone!!!!! not only are all 25 boxes sold out in less than 5 mins but mine was pulled because I didn't checkout quick enough....... :wall: :wall: :wall:

Similar thing happened to me. I got on exactly at 7pm, and after I entered my billing info I got a message saying something changed so I need to go back. I do everything a second time, and I get the same error message. I go to do it a third time, and then I couldn't because everything was sold out. I wasn't very happy.

Same thing happened to me. I remembered my log in though. I took me back three times, and at the third time it said there was no product qty in the cart. I changed it to 1, and then went through it all again, and it finally processed. That was at 8:06PM EST

Because there were over 100 hundred people checking out all at once the website went absolutely crazy and blew up by placing 1 box in almost every order when there were only 25 boxes available

I sent the following email out to everyone who placed an order and just now finished voiding all but the first 25 that went through.

September 8, 2013

To Whom It May Concern:

There were only 25 boxes of T6B available on the website.

There were 100 people checking out at the same time which caused our website to go crazy and gave just about every person who was checking out a box of T6B.

The following orders were the FIRST 25 to get their orders in so please check your email to see if your order number is one of the lucky 25 orders shipping out this week:

I have had a few nasty emails in regard to the website difficulties and they assume I picked and chose which 25 order numbers would get the ammunition.

The order numbers are automatically generated in numerical order through the website. I do not have any control on how and what order each order is processed.

I guess I should have finished filling out the credit card info. When I added to cart, it put one in my cart, but by the time I got to payment it said in stock was 0. So....A: I took to long putting in my shipping info, or B: The website was malfunctioning and I shot myself in the foot for not finishing my order :facepalm:

I know how you feel. Just be happy you got a chance at it. It's certainly not Elites fault that they can't get the supplies to produce more. I'm sure they would like to be selling it just as much as you'd like to be buying it.

There was a problem with there website... I had to checkout 3 times before I got a confirmation for purchasing, all that to get rejected! oh well, I will just make my own. Seems like there are just as good of bullets out there.

I was one of the lucky ones and can appreciate being frustrated if you were not.
Taking your frustration out on the EA team seems silly as they did their best to make this process fair.

The nasty emails and posts are the reason I stay away from the forum.

I honestly think I am no longer going to announce when we have small quantities of ammo available because people rip me a new one when they can't get any or their order was cancelled because so many people were online checking out at the same time and crashed the website.

well Lisa, I was not dissing on you or Jay (not that crazy...), I was just commenting on how bloody fast the boxes went.......if I was smart, I should have had items in the cart beforehand which would have required me to enter my login data, thus preventing my mishap....

oh well, lesson learned....

No, they were not.

I got about 12 people ripping me a new one and they were very nasty emails.

We are doing what we can and people expect more than we can give.

People don't realize that we have NOT been able to get regular normal sized supply orders from any of our vendors since October 5th 2012. That is almost a year.

We get a little here and a little there when they actually have it.

It is a damned shame that EA has been forced to end the announcements of their small run ammo sales. EA is a great company that always looks out for the folks. Everybody has the same chance of getting a box of ammo. Sometimes I have got lucky and sometimes not. When I don't get lucky, I take it like an adult and wait for the next time. The same goes for probably 99% of everybody else here. It just burns me up that a few ingrates take it upon their lowlife selves to send rude and despicable emails to Lisa cursing her out just because they didn't get a box of ammo.

"We will NOT allow those who send HOSTILE mail, emails, phone calls or FaceBook posts to buy ammunition or other products from our website. These actions show one is NOT a responsible gun owner."

I wasted my time rearranging my day to buy some dumb box of ammo that only has 25 rounds in it... my mistake I won't do that again. I can just make my own. As far as banning people from a forum- I thought we lived in a country that people had the freedom to say whatever they want... however dumb it may sound. Heck, why stop at banning them from the forum...why not take there freedom to buy ammo, or guns for that matter?

1. I never said anything about you.

2. You are right we do live in a country that people have the freedom to say whatever they want. People do that on this forum all the time. You will find a wide range of opinions on a wide range of topics here.

3. All that I am saying is that any forum member that can't conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards another forum member (Lisa Wolf in this case) just because due to nobody's fault they couldn't buy a box of ammo, doesn't need to be a member here.

4. And lastly I don't understand why you think that people who sent Lisa hateful messages belong here. In Lisa's own words "I got about 12 people ripping me a new one and they were very nasty emails.". I still think that those people most definitely should be banned.

I am a big fan of the concept of old fashioned capitalism. Make a better product, do business with whomever you choose to, etc. No one has a "right" to someone else's time, talent, and efforts. Jay and Lisa, good for you for making a product that is in high demand. I'm sure if you could supply more, you would. I've always said I wanted to be on the supply side of a business where I could pick and choose my customers. As a matter of principle, you should refuse to do business with those that are offensive. Remember those signs that used to be in restaurants; "This establishment reserves the right to refuse service to any customer". You don't see those anymore.

As long as I'm on an "Atlas Shrugged" rant, this forum is a private enterprise. If the owners of the forum want to ban someone, more power to them. It works both ways. If you don't like being banned, take your business elsewhere, or start your own business. I love teaching my kids to never give their money to someone that doesn't want it. If they have poor product or customer service, I keep my money.

I never said anything about banning people from the forum.

I don't know about you, but I for one don't think that those who have been sending hostile emails are being Responsible Gun Owners. If they are acting like that by email over something that was out of ones control whose to say what they would do face to face in the same situation.

Trust me in the past I have been threatened via email and then had someone show up at my front door. So my thinking on what a Responsible Gun Owner is much differ from your definition.
