Mayor Bloomberg and His Ignorant Crusade

Post by jgreenberg01 » 06 Sep 2011, 10:26

From this article:

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/09/06/48 ... ?hpt=hp_t2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There were 48 shootings in NYC this Labor Day weekend and here is what hizoner has to say about it...
Mayor Michael Bloomberg says there is, and he said Tuesday that lawmakers in the nation's capital ought to do something to better control gun violence. New York state reportedly had some of the strictest gun laws in the country, but Bloomberg wants Washington's help. He spoke outside a hospital where the officers were being treated.

"This is a national problem requiring national leadership," he said, according to the Los Angeles Times. "But at the moment, neither end of Pennsylvania Avenue has the courage to take basic steps that would save lives.""
In the mean time while NY has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, this still holds true...
The weekend's bloodshed put a fine point on figures the FBI released in May showing that violent crime was down throughout the country in the past year but up in New York. The New York Police Department released its own report in January, available in full here (PDF), which visually lays out all of the city's 536 homicides in 2010.
So does 2+2 equal 4 to Bloomberg???

Sniper Joe is in a great position to analyze this article and form a thoughtful yet colorful explanation of current gun laws in NYC. Typical libtard, make laws that CRIMINALS won't follow and blame everyone else for their problem. It seems to be the "I did my part" mentality. Maybe murders went up because victims were easy pickings...hmmmmm. I must be wrong because I'm not nearly as smart as that genius in a suit Heir Bloomberg.

Bloomberg is an aloof fool when it comes to gun policy. It seriously should be treated as a phobia. Some people just fear inanimate objects. To look at this problem and say it is a gun problem is nuts!!!! Its a crime problem, and criminals always follow the path of least resistance. That in this country is first and foremost area where law abiding citizens are endangered by gun control.

Like I said, it should be a diagnosable debilitating phobia. It is absolutely not logical.

Anyone else catch Bloomberg on cbs news this morning? I try not to watch these idiots speak, but got trapped in a room with it. Im honestly not sure how a man that spouts such tripe gets elected for anything...
His main points
1)Your better off without a gun because if someone with a gun is breaking in it will take you to long to get the gun, then find the key and ammo.... The ammo is in the chamber, and the key is apparently at your house.

2)The only reason anyone would need ap ammunition is to kill cops.... Have you priced body armor lately Mr Bloomberg? It would be a cheap investment for a career criminal. Remember the bank robery in LA?

3)You should be able to sue gun manufacturers if their products kill people like you can with car manufacturers... Maybe he's confused about the differences between cars an guns?

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505267_162- ... igilantes/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; if anyone else feels the need to watch it. He gets into the firearms issue around 7 minutes in.
I'll leave this world the same way I came in... By accident.

I love his little hypothetical story:

"Someone is breaking down your door saying, 'I'm going to come in and kill you'...'"

"...You're better-off not having a gun"

How can a man who professes to be so brilliant say something so utterly stupid.

I wonder if this *edit* has armed security?
Never confuse 'The will of the Majority' with 'The will of God'.
