Re: Seven unopened boxes of SS192
I haven't been around that long, but is there any thing special about the 192 over the 197, to cause a $20 increase per box??

Re: Seven unopened boxes of SS192
The SS192 has been discontinued. Supposidly since 2005. The brown boxes have a slight collector value to them. A huge amount of SS192 was released to the market a month or two ago. You can buy it on GB for $25-30 a box for now. In a few months it will probably be back up to the $50 a box people were charging a few months ago.
As far as the round goes, it's the same bullet as the SS195. Some believe that it has a bit more powerful propellent load, but the balistic data seems to be the same. The primer in the SS192 is suppose to be longer lasting than that of the SS195, not having any the oxidizing agents the newer cartridges have.
