So, I don't really like the stock Mossberg 500 fore-end. I was wrestling with getting the Surefire built in light fore-end but, I think it's incredibly overpriced as are all Surefire products.
I can't stand pistol grip fore-ends, and I don't really care for the ATI tactical fore-end that's all over the net for like $30.
I think I've depleted my resources. I don't like the Choate one, the one with the rails on it, the Mossberg one with the strap...
I just want no slip, and something my big meat hooks can get a good grip on.
Anyone have any suggestions of stuff to look at?
EDIT: Anyone have any experience with this? I love my Knoxx stock! http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.a ... =112026682" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Who wants to recomend a few fore-ends for me to check out?

As far as the surefire end, you pay for what you get. :thumb:

So you have first hand experience with it?
In my experience and I don't think I'm the only one that feels the same way, Surefire is very overpriced for what you get. If you do some research for most Surefire products, you can find something comparable for about half the cost and it's just as reliable.
I just can't justify $200 for a fore-end with a flashlight built in. Even if it is the creme de le creme of fore-end's for my gun.

It seems that you negated all the popular fore ends. I have never seen anyone so particular about a fore end on a shotty before.
Of all the shottys I tried, used and owned, I never upgraded the fore end.
Did you actually try those fore ends that you "didn't like?"
I would stick with factory foreends simply because they fit perfectly.
From all my follies, I noticed one thing. You usually get what you pay for for firearm accessories.
the surefire is expensive, but I guarantee that it will fit snug and last a lifetime.
Hogue never let me down....
