Stoeger coach

Post by FSNTAC » 23 Dec 2008, 23:40

I saw one today at Gander and had an instant hard on.
Does anyone know anything about these?

I like the side by side and shorter 20 inch barrel. This seems perfect for home defense or a superb field gun with the right choke on it.

any feedback or suggestions for similar models is appreciated!!

Think about buying one at every gun show but I guess the moss is good enough for HD. I am looking for a good side-by-side 12ga for hunting - goose, turkey and such - any suggestions?

The norinco double barrels have the external hammers, which are a bitc* to use.
Stoeger is great too!!!

I know colt and benelli make a fine O/U don't know if they do the SxS. They are upwards of $1500. You usually get what you pay for.

Panzer,

Can I shoot from both barrels simultaneusly? How well does the Stoeger coach handle slugs?
Have you done any hunting with yours? Thanks in advance!

I have shot birdshot simultaneously. I would imagaine slugs would be hurting pretty bad.
20inch smoothbore with slugs. i would say the slugs you use will be the deciding factor.

2 triggers, one for each barrel.

Dumping both filled with 00 is just plain fun.Yes your shoulder will be purple for a week, Mine anyway since I shoot at least 50 rounds at a time. You won't feel the pain though. Just will be grinning your ass off as you turn back stop into confetti.
