Mech-Tech CCU

Post by Llagoud » 21 Nov 2008, 06:31

Does anyone have any first-hand experience with these conversions?

I was dilligafing around yesterday while I was chained to the desk and stumbled across them on an unrelated search.
I like the concept, and price, so I tried to do some digging and there is very little out there for reviews.

What I did find ranged from:

"frikkin AWESOME, best buy ever, 2-3" groups at 100 yards, thousands of rounds without so much as a hiccup.... "

to the inevitable:

"utter CRAP, feels like airsoft, KB'd after 200 factory loads, destroyed my Glock 20 frame....."

I respect the opinions of y'all more than these random search results, so....
What's the word?

Sorry I never got one, but...

I was turned off by them because they are so freaking ugly.
I have used a keltec sub2000 in 9mm, that used glock mags.
That worked great.

Also consider the olympic arms glock lowers. they have one in 9mm and .40.
They also have 10mm and .45auto lowers, but not sure what kinda magazines are used. ... &Itemid=37" onclick=";return false;

I looked into them a few years ago (prior to the rumors of the PS90), but became disinterested when they said they had no plans to do something similar for the FsN.

Aesthetically, they don't really match either of the two host platforms all that well.

I have no personal experience with the product(s).

Political tags — such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative,
and so forth — are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want
people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.
