Bought a Sig P239 .40

Post by gotants » 18 Mar 2009, 20:54

Just did it on GB so I don't have it yet.

Here it is....
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIt ... =125136281" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The seller didn't mention anything on the trigger action (SA/DA or just the DA) and some of his info is off (barrel size and mag capacity).

I sent 2 emails asking about those with no response, hopefully it's just an error.

Got it for CCW. Any comments?

It was my phone conversation with Ryan that gave me the edge to pull the trigger. (thanks Ryan)

I'll prolly FFL it to Venry, as long as he's cool with that. Then he can give it a good lookey over. Of course, he'll prolly talk me into doing some upgrades to it.

Spoke with Venry (great guy) and the seller, it should ship tomorrow and I'll have it by early next week.

Also already purchased 1 spare mag. I'll need an IWB holster for it. Speaking of which, I'd like to carry it right front (right hand draw) as I have back issues disallowing for normal CCW carry. Any recommends for this particular piece?

The Sig 239 is my next purchase. I want to get the The P239 SAS Gen 2 two tone w/the SRT trigger. Seen here

I need to sell another gun to do so though. I have a Para CCW .45 with a LDA tigger I have to get rid of so the wife will let me have another gun. Times are tough she says and we have to be frugal. :laugh:

Well, according to the USPS tracking number, it has arrived in Miami as of 5:30 this morning. Not sure Venry has it yet.

Two days off the cigs, and I'm getting antsy :monkey:
