How's that old joke go? "I got a new gun for my wife", "nice trade, he says"
Not exactly what happened. I got a Sig Mosquito last year, just cuz it looked cool. It was desert digital camo with a threaded barrel. I couldn't stand it. It fed ok, but it had the worst trigger ever. It made the PS90 trigger feel downright crisp. Fun to shoot, unless you wanted to hit what you were aiming at.
A local guy bought his wife a nickel Taurus PT945 .45 ACP. She fired it one time and said, never again. He offered to trade me. I went for it. I'm not sure I like the Taurus, but I hated the Mosquito. I haven't fired the Taurus yet, but every time I hold it I think of Tommy Lee Jones telling Robert Downey to get rid of the pu$$y gun and get a Glock. (some of you will get that).
I'm waiting for the remorse to kick in, but it's not happening. I think I'm happy with the trade.
Good trade?

Re: Good trade?
If you go back in the forum to the .22LR threads, I posted a long post warning against the Sig Mosquito. I've shot many of them. None of them I could recommend. I'm sorry that you had to go through that.NLVMike wrote:How's that old joke go? "I got a new gun for my wife", "nice trade, he says"

I would pick a Keltec PF9 anyday over a Sig .22, if offered for trade. And a Taurus.
Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.
The shooter will always matter more than the gear ever will.
Stop relying on others to do the work for you.
Shoot more, worry less.

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

I'd say you got the better end of the trade. I would say try and trade up again haha.
