Hi, I need some advice please. I'm going to purchase a fn five-seven from a private collector out of state off of armlist. He's ask all the right questions about my ffl place and my address and name. He wants to use the app called "cashapp" for me to send him the money. I requested a copy of his driver's license which he provided. I never used this App before. Is it safe to use so I don't get taken? What's the best or safest way to pay him so I don't get taken? Any advice on this is very much appreciated. TIA!!

I haven't heard of it but I also don't keep up on all the latest methods to transfer money. You would probably better off doing a google search for cashapp reviews, you'd have a wider base from which to draw conclusions.

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

Use a postal money order. If he won’t accept it. Don’t buy. JMTCW
