Where's the jealousy font when you need it?
Very cool - the sound as you hit the throttle was awesome! Which car were you driving and if you don't mind, what was the "affordable" cost?
And let me guess - the video was an a la carte item...

I was thinking of doing something similar as a graduation present for myself at the track in Las Vegas, that's the closest one AFAIK.

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

I drove the C7 Corvette. The regular price was $200. Groupon was $100. They suggest track insurance. $39 for 50K of coverage or something.
$40 for a 2GB SD card to put into their inside GoPro. This then allowed me to mount additional cameras (for free). I threw it on the vette's rear side window..

$40 for a 2gb SD card, hmm. Well I suppose it can be justified that it comes with laps on a track. It is very cool though that they let you mount your own camera(s) - I never would have thought they would allow that.
Very cool experience!

When we bought the SRT8 Charger (a few years ago), Chrysler offered to send us to a race driver school where we'd spend the weekend driving all of their SRT lineup. I wanted behind the wheel of the Viper SO bad...we never did get to go though.
