Last year, LaRue Tactical was the major sponsor, with many rifles on the prize table.
This year, it will be Surefire.
I'm headed out to set up for the national 3Gun match this weekend; ROs will shoot next week, and the pro-shooters and teams are comin in to shoot on the 19th, 20th, and 21st.
I will be ROing and watching and hanging out.
And probably shooting the entire match pistol-only, for fun and training. Not for score; but I can't afford the 3Gun ammunition, even with my friends lending me the gear. They have offered ammunition, but that's too much to accept, as I feel badly.
Anyway, if you guys have questions about 3Gun or big matches, I'll do my best to answer them. Otherwise, I'll just post some pictures here, like last year.
The work that goes into a match like this is beyond exhausting, and I was wiped out, as I work with multiple sponsors behind the scenes, not just ROing. Usually I'm working 16-18 hour days for 3 days straight. But it's cool, because you get to meet people and play with fun stuff.
