Yeah, that kinda gives it away.....and the quote:
… the mind boggles … the solution to the UK economic crisis, and the way to end the persistent nuisance of the climate inconsiderately changing all the time, is to add a million “secure, flexible, permanent” union workers building wind farms to the UK government’s permanent welfare rolls.

These folks would be funny if they weren’t so dangerous.

Reminds me of that NY politician who was against barrel shrouds but admitted she didn't know what they were when directly questioned
Wasn't that the same cow who was against .50 BMGs? Because they can fire incendiary rounds which makes them heat seeking ?
EDIT: Found it, not the same cow. But both from NY...
Barrel shroud (Carolyn McCarthy)

Heat seeking (Patricia Eddington)

Doctors

(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is
700,000.

(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are
120,000.

(C) Accidental deaths per physician is
0.171

Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Now think about this:

Guns

(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is
80,000,000.

(Yes, that's 80 million)

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is
1,500.

(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is
.0000188

Statistics courtesy of FBI

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT
Almost everyone has at least one doctor.

This means you are over 9,000 times more likely to be killed by a doctor as by a gun owner!!!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.
We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Out of concern for the public at large, We withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause
people to panic and seek medical attention!

My wife recently started making things out of beads and string. She's been a little bit dissatisfied with some of her most recent creations and was getting frustrated that the plan in her head wasn't matching with reality. As I walked by her workstation on my way to get a cough of cuppee, I said: "The beading will continue, until your morale improves."

The beer is being funneled through his left hand. Notice how he never lets go of the corner of the "iPad".

Of course I could be wrong and it's actually a magical beer app...

And for my next act: I will disprove the existence of Santa Claus. :p

If you watch the first part of the video, he suction cups it on the iPad. What I did notice is that he never takes his RIGHT hand off the tap when it is pouring. Probably feeding thru the handle and out the tap. This actually kept me up at night last night thinking about it. :D

ETA - Also, if you look at 1:18, he's got beer running down his hand on his pinky. Which affirms my guess that the tube is on his right arm and he puts it in the top of the handle and out the spout. He was also pretty adamant about not letting the one girl touch the spout.

My kids just watched a show on Animal Planet called Mermaids, the Body Found. Afterward they were all arguing about whether mermaids are real or fake and if the show was real or just to bring attention to whale beachings, blah, blah, blah. Then one of my twin girls turns to me and says, "Daddy, what do you think?"
I sat there for a minute trying to think what to say. I didn't really want to dash her hopes that maybe mermaids are real...but I didn't want to tell her that the odds of them being real were pretty doggone slim.
So I just said, "I wonder what they taste like with butter and lemon?"
Of course, she was aghast, the boys busted up laughing, her twin sister thought I was just horrible and my wife hit me with a shoe.
Sometimes, I just can't win.

For marinating gefrierengebers (+1 internetz if you know what that is w/o looking it up  ), chianti is a good start. Might also try rubbing some brown sugar on before grilling. For a side dish, corn on the cob or mashed taters.

Eeeewwww...
Santa should be GRILLED!
Never grind up ANYTHING with that much fat content and fry it up and serve it on a bun!
If you grill it, you can trim the fat ring down to 1/8", season properly and slow grill to bring out the flavors.
Not that I'd condone grilling Santa (forgive me Santa!) because he is a living breathing person.
Mermaids, on the other hand, whether they have gills or a blowhole, would be like eating dolphin or whale or shark or...anything else out of the water.
Now the Easter Bunny...

Dutch artist Bart Jansen was rather heartbroken when his cat, Orville, was hit and killed by a car. However, Jansen decided to memorialize his deceased buddy in a unique way: by turning him into a helicopter. Actually I think that is a quadcopter or maybe a quadcapter?
“Now he is finally flying with the birds.”

Just as an extra funny -you know those smeggin' advertisements that come up on youtube that you have to close all the freaking time? The one that popped up on youtube for this stuffed cat vid was the Colorado Culinary School.
Also, does anyone else find the soundtrack hilarious?

Yeah, well, knowing me, I'll just shoot off my big mouth again and end up with my nose in the corner. Again.
Or worse, end up perma-banned..hehehe
Maybe I can do better this time.
Thanks though!

Wouldn't it be funny/poetic if an eagle, hawk, or some other bird of prey dive bombed that thing while it's in flight, knocked it to the ground & then started munching (or trying trying to munch) on it?

A few things:

A) If you listen to the lyrics, it was pretty funny (if you weren't a fan, maybe not so much)
B) That guy kinda does a decent Elton John (TWHS)
3) Don't worry, we'll see them all again in syndication and probably in future silly series that pop up

A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City.

A woman may go to this store and purchase a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates.

RULES FOR PURCHASING A HUSBAND:

You may visit this store ONLY ONCE!

There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1- These men Have Jobs.

She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.

"That's nice," she thinks, "but I want more." So she continues upward.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.

To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street.

The first floor has wives that love sex.

The second floor has wives that love sex and have money and like beer.

The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.

Starts lame but give it until about 0:18.
Also you could turn on closed captions to make it more interesting.

5 Great Gifts to Send Obama in Lieu of Cash Contributions

In what is arguably a modern low point in political discourse, President Obama's re-election campaign is exhorting supporters to sacrifice birthday, wedding, graduation, and other personal gifts to the greater cause of...President Obama's re-election. No kidding
.
.
.
.
.
So instead of just sending him another dollar he'll forget to use, why not send him something that you've already received as a wedding or bat mitzvah or graduation or gag gift?
Or something you've always wanted to send someone but never followed through on?

The Declaration of Independence, Fixed

As part of our ongoing project to update and improve the core documents of American history, we present the opening sections of the Declaration of Independence as they ought to have been written, and indeed as it would have been written if the still primitive colonial political process had only been sophisticated enough to restrict participation at important conferences to the appropriately certified, trained and peer-reviewed experts who could have produced a document worth remembering.
