I was inventorying some ammo and came across this cache in an ammo can pushed way to back of a shelf. I debated posting pictures here, I don't want to make any one green (oh wait, yes I do :p )

Nope, no 198; i've never had my hands on any of that.

The Blue boxes are 197 and the white ones are 195 (currently at EA getting 'roided up into S4M!).

Maybe i misread this ....correct me if im wrong as im new to this platform....but did you just infer that i could send FN ammo to EA to get converted into EA ammo?

Well, it is a service that used to be listed on their webpage... I can't seem to find it right now.

It is entirely dependant on their ability to get components. (Primers (to replace the L.F. 195 primer), power, bullets)

Sorry folks bobapunk is doing some work for us and I extended the offer to convert it for him.

I am working on a permanent fix to the 5.7x28 ammo shortage just can't go into details now.

I can tell you i got 10 cases of it for 38cents/round about a month ago and it shoots waaaay low with my fixed sights, but its what ive got so i will it work. From what i can tell its trajectory is almost identical to 197 as i was hitting in the same spot with it. (chalk the typos up to my *dumb* phone).
