Sorry to hear that, Smokey;

I've never pointed anyone their way. They've always been a very non-friendly place, to me. I've never spent a cent, there.

As active as this thread is Smokey, if we were to lock it, someone else would only start a new one. Hell, some people have already tried starting new bass pro threads even though this one wasn't locked yet :laugh: (You know who you are :p )

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

The Bass Pro in Vegas is telling us that they will get three pallets of assorted ammo on Saturday morning at 9:00 am. They won't even bring it upstairs to the gun area. They expect it all to sell right off the pallets immediately. I asked if there would be any 5.7 on the pallet and the guy snorted. Not laughed, snorted. I'm not expecting much.

Cabela's came through for me. Just got a call from the Barrington, IL store. They have 500 rounds of AE 5.7 waiting for me to pick up. Charged me $19.99 a box. Total with tax included was $212.39 I wish I had ordered another 1000 rounds now... That's the cheapest I've ever found 5.7 ammo!

Nice! I was way happy with with my price as well - hopefully it starts driving everyone elses prices down too...
