PS90 cleaning frequency?

Post by Redrider » 11 Jun 2015, 10:05

Hey guys, new to the site but have been creepin' on the forums for about a year and learning all sorts of great stuff. I used the search to try and find how frequently one should be cleaning the PS90, but I didn't find anything. How often are you guys cleaning? Also any tips/recommendations on cleaning techniques and products? Thank you in advance for all of your help!

I clean mine after every use, same as every gun. I just use Hoppe's #9 solvent & oil for the most part, some folks use other products such as Frog Lube & whatnot.
.22 caliber bore snakes are nice.

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

I'm not sure it needs it, but it is so easy to run a bore snake through it and wipe down the bolt, that I do it every time I shoot it.

Has anyone checked on the compatibility of the plastic w various cleaners?

Or has the cause of the cracking been found?

I'm thinking about getting a PS90 for my truck gun
