Finally got a PS90
It was sad watching the PS90's skyrocket earlier this year knowing I didn't make an effort to get one when they were priced normally. I always figured I would get to purchasing one eventually.. Well prices are great now and I was able to buy one for 1200 shipped free and no tax. That's as good of a price as I've seen in years.
It's a standard black one with the rail and iron sights.
I'm happy.

I can't imagine not being happy with it. It is an amazing weapon, and that is a great price. Only use real FN mags, and enjoy.

Re: Finally got a PS90
This is going to sound retarded and noobish but I was thinking about putting the fake suppressor on the end. I don't want to SBR it because I appreciate the extra velocity and that fake suppressor seems to eliminate the odd look of such a long barrel projecting from the compact body. Am I going to burn in tacticool hell if I strap one of these on?

You won't be burning in tacticool hell for putting a fake suppressor on. That won't be the reason.

I'll take some as soon as that evil little PDW arrives in my hands. :thumb:500SWfan wrote::ttiwwp:

A gunbroker auction. The prices are really coming down. I was scared a few months back that I might have missed the boat on the PS90. I was actually considering buying a 5.7 upper for a while. I'm happy and anxiously awaiting it's arrival.

That is a very good deal, especially for gunbroker. Good luck with it and I know you'll enjoy it! Can't wait to some some pictures
Re: Finally got a PS90 - ME TOO!
Got mine three days ago for $1,300. here in 'Vegas. and three mags for $28. each.
Now I'm going to submit a Form 1 and pray for a 6 month turnaround.
The guy is very reasonable. I bought my new Ruger LC-9 there with a LaserMax for $400.

Ditch,
All 5 of my new mags are FN mags. Actually $28. each (at Urban Civil Defense in Henderson just off Gibson by the RR tracks). Same place I got the PS90.
But, alas, no ammo at all and none for at least several weeks.

Got it yet? We are still waiting on pics.
I can't recall ever having any sort of malfunction or failure in mine with SS192, SS195, or SS197SR. I just picked up 1,000 rounds of AE. I haven't fired it yet but I will be supremely disappointed if it doesn't function well in the PS90.

COLLECTING...
I'm going to collect all the 40 gr. or heavier ammo that I can over the coming year.
I'll save the brass and begin reloading. That case is so small that I'll have to be VERY carefull with powder measuring. (Even 1/2 grain over max load can be quite dangerous.)
Now to "collect the bullets I want and get the correct powder.
Any suggestions on either - and vendors?

Re: Finally got a PS90
I went down Thursday night to an indoor range to go through some ammo. The range only goes back to 25 yards, so I'm kind of limited with the PS90. At 25 yards I can shoot amazing groups, but they are 4" below point of aim. I have it zeroed at 50 yards.
I took two Five Seven's, an older IOM and a USG. The IOM was great, as usual. I was shocked that the USG groups were much larger. I don't shoot that one much, but I didn't recall that much of a difference before. By much larger, I mean 1.5 inch at 10 yards with the IOM, vs. 5 inches with the USG. Then I noticed that I had loaded the USG mags with AE ammo. I put a mag of 197 in the USG and the group tightened right up. Kind of bummed me out, as AE seems to be all that is readily available.
The good part of the day is that I was the last guy at the range as they closed down, so they let me go out to pick up my brass. Apparently I was not the only one shooting 5.7 that day, as I picked up 50 more than I shot.
