PS90 vs. 250+ Milk Jugs (HD)
For the 4th of July I let some friends and relatives shoot up 250+ milk jugs with the PS90.
Ammo used was SS197 and AE5728.
Here is the video:

Here is another creative video I filmed with some night shots and the Viridian X5L laser.
Ammo used in this one was EA Pro II and some AE5728.
Muzzle flashes start at 1:45.
The explosions toward the end of the video are aerosol cans.
For the shots that look like they're aimed toward the camera, a tripod was used (don't worry).
Fun 4th of July celebration. :thumb:

All done in a safe and legal manner, of course.
On a side note, I'm very happy with the Moerse Lekker barrel shroud for the PS90. I haven't noticed any negative effects on the gun's functionality, and it makes the barrel look a lot better in my opinion.

The Night Shooting video was really good, especially in HD. I think you just inspired me, I have to find someplace that I can do some shooting in the dark.
The jugs:
A) that took some dedication to fill all those bad-boys, and
B) it must have taken a lot of time to set that up too.

Glad you all enjoyed!
Night shooting is always a thrill. I was surprised by the amount of flash with AE5728. Maybe I just haven't shot SS195 or SS197 in the dark recently, but it seemed like AE5728 puts out a lot more flash. The biggest muzzle flashes were still from EA Pro II though.
The milk jugs took a long time to fill. Not to mention a gallon of water weighs about 8 pounds, so 250 jugs is about 2,000 pounds of water, and that was a lot of weight for my little truck. Here is what the first load looked like (about 200 jugs in this one):

!!!!
What round are you shootin! That's probably one of the biggest mf's from an FsN I've seen!
Is that the Pro II?
And congrats for being such a great guy and letting your friends shoot your ammo up!

Yep!
That was a round of Pro II.
That's also his new favorite picture.
I pulled the frame from the video file using Sony Vegas Pro 10. That one is resized a bit, the original was 1920x1080.

They may have chewed through a LOT of my ammo but I got to watch, and film it, so it's a win-win. :thumb:
Now if I could just find some SS197!

Looks like fun!! Don't forget the safety eyewear next time.
Re: PS90 vs. 250+ Milk Jugs (HD)
I also did some slow motion closeup shots with the PS90, out of curiosity. Random bottles of water, expired tomato juice, mustard, pop, etc.
Ammo used was SS197SR.
The last shot (the explosion) is an aerosol can. No special effects were added. I had the camera zoomed in, so the flame looked like it was closer than it actually was (I had the camera back on a tripod).
As usual, I recorded with a Sanyo VPC-HD1000.
The camera doesn't have a slow mo function, so I slowed it down in my video editor (Sony Vegas Pro 10). It was shot in 1080p so it still looks alright.

That's a helluva way to open a jar of peanut butter
That last one looked cool, been thinking of trying something like that out here.
Now, who got to clean up the mess?

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

Really liked your vids, thanks for posting! Man you must drink a lot of "milk". In Virginia, if you are seen going down the road with that kind of load, you will get pulled over and questioned :thumb: :thumb:DmL5 wrote:Glad you all enjoyed!

Fantastic vids. Thanks.
I'm amazed at the power of those little .22 cal. 40 gr. pills! They must tumble upon impact.
I think I'll buy some clay and see what the wound channel looks like.

Re: PS90 vs. 250+ Milk Jugs (HD)
Yep, the SS197 breaks up really quick in milk jugs and does a lot of damage. Actually, if you shoot a row of jugs with SS197 out of the PS90, it dumps almost all of its energy in the first jug.
The AE5728 doesn't do near as much damage in the first jug, but it has better penetration.
If you notice some of the jugs in the video not blowing up as dramatically as others, that's because some of the ammo was AE5728.
