I need some help. The slide on my 5.7 pistol cannot be pulled back to eject the round in the chamber. I have to take the mag out and fire the round in the chamber to get the slide to move. Is the slide locking up a common problem and is there a fix?
Thanks,

What model is it? USG?
If it is USG, did you have the magazine safety removed?

Sounds like the slide catch release lever may be bent. It could happen if you shoot wile wering thick gloves alot, but usualy that lever breakes away. Allso, if you have a Jarvis BBL, it may be a sign of spring housing starting to go south. Can you post some picktures of the gun disasembled?

Vitaliy,
Thank you for the advice. Here is a picture of the gun.
Turns out it was another primer jammed in the slide. A good strong pull and the slide moved enough to disassemble the pistol and two pieces of primer fell out. Blown out primers happen occasionally when shooting hand loaded cartridges. Has anyone had experience gluing primers? Here is a batch of brass with super glued primers for testing.

Cool!
Here is another way: you can use a large primer reamer to ream out the primer pocket to exept large rifle primer, on brass that has stretched pockets. Dont ask me how, yet, but i know for sure, that the 5.7 case is large enough to fit the large primer.
