I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with that.

Referencing BARFCOMM as your source doesn't help your case either.
Over the last four decades I've fired tens of thousands of rounds (quite a bit of it on full auto) the ONLY bad ammo I've EVER encountered was manufactured by Fiocchi.

I stand by my comment and there is no way in hell I'd take Fiocchi into harms way!!!

As too your comments on ARFCOM, it's the same as any other forum. There are idiots AND experts on most forums, Pat Rogers posts quite a bit on ARFCOM, if he doesn't know AR-15's I don't know who does!
How would you rate other Fiocchi ammo such as some of their 9mm?
Never have tried it...NEVER will.

Fool me once...

But didn't Jay (Elite Ammunition) weigh a bunch of SS197 powder charges and found them all over the place.

Yes all over the place right along with all the different powders. At first I collected the the information from a purely data catalog point.

It just became to much and for no real gain. Collecting the data told me what I already knew, if they gathered enough sweepings off the powder room floor they would use it to load 197.

LOL

You want to know something hilarious;

Steel cased Wolf is some of the most accurate 9mm ammo I've ever shot.

I seriously can't believe it, to this day.

I'm a big fan of steel and aluminum cased ammunition after my last outing. I was shooting better with steel Tula than the brass stuff I had brought with.

You want to shoot bad ammo? Go buy Brass Maxx, 9mm made in Bosnia and imported by Tula. I shot less than half of the 100 round tub and had almost a dozen failures to return to battery, including one that locked up my slide...

Shot these out of a PKM and had zero failures and very accurate.

Some of that steel case stuff also has a bi-metal jacket, which means steel, and burns up barrels pretty quickly. I'm ok with it in 7.62 x whatever, but dont run it through anything else.

Ive not fired hundreds of thousands of rounds of fiocchi, but I can't recall ever having an issue with it, so it's still good in my book, all calibers.

I'm in Austin, TX.

If you need plinking/practice 5.7x28mm, I have AE I'd sell you for what I bought it, if you need.

I paid $20 per box, you don't have to worry about shipping costs.

Only if you're a nice guy and not some weirdo
