www.fivesevenammo.com

I have gotten a few emails about my post with
what happen to me with this guy at http://www.fivesevenammo.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I had and order placed, and he would not contact me or
ship my order after a month or so, when I finally got with
him he said it would be another week to ship, so I told
the owner to cancel the order, he told me he was still
going to charge me 15% even thou the order was not
shipped. So I told him I would dispute that with my credit
card company. I also backed up the cancel the order call,
with an email. Which he replied to before he shipped the order.
Now I know what your thinking, why ship an order that is canceled?
Have no clue why he shipped the order, his reply to my "cancel
the entire order" was......drum roll please....."your order will ship
tomorrow and you should get a fedex notification" I replied
back to the guy again... "what part of cancel do you not understand".

Long story short, he shipped the order, I refused it, I filed a
dispute with my credit card company, and he countered filed
for the full amount, with the tracking number showing he
signed for the refused-returned ammo. Now he is being reviewed by
Visa USA.

He has the new terms 15% charge for all cancelled orders, on his
site, and some other weird rules and charges. Moral of the story,
if you need to get ammo, get it elsewhere, and if you want to cancel
your order, report your credit card missing or stolen so no one
can charge on it, and cancel your order. This way you will not
have to deal with this bizarre individual/company.

Also filed this with the BBB online, so others that want to check
this guy out will see what kind of business he runs.

No I think the owner of that company did that.

All I wanted was to cancel my order.

From your post in the other thread, it seemed you were talking about a different company. This company was a sponsor for a while but it would appear they are not one now.

It is unfortunate that you had to go through that & I hope it all works out for you with the credit card company.

http://www.fivesevenammo.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and http://www.fiveseveNammo.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

is the same site. Same company....to be clear......

Yeah it sucks someone does business this way, and makes the
buyer expose his ways. I know there are others out there, and
are afraid to cancel there orders.

Cancel your credit card and the guy can do nothing. Cards are
replaced free and no headache from the ammo dealer.

Thanks

When I first bought my 5.7 I made the mistake of ordering ammo from http://www.fivesevenammo.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

After multiple phone conversations I came to the conclusion that the guy is not a scammer or malacious but just a country bumpkin from Vermont that is VERY slow to ship items.

Thankfully I saw the light and now buy all my ammo from http://www.sgammo.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (they are fantastic, fast shipping and better prices than the aforementioned site).

I ordered from these people (fivesevenammo.com). Received an order number, gave them my credit card number, etc. They never shipped ( also thankfully they DID NOT charge my account). Multiple emails and finally a reply from Robert Hausman <[email protected]> asking again what did I order. I sent him a copy of my order and still no further reply. They may be country bumpkins or they may be crooks, I don't know. But I do know that I changed my credit card number and will never deal with these people again. Any business that uses an AOL email address should be suspect in my opinion. They also have the worlds most unreadable website and although they provide a fax number ( not tested) they do not provide a phone number. Email is not answered. Draw your own conclusions but if it looks like a duck, etc. Don't waste your time dealing with these people. Want ammo, go to Sgammo.com. Eventually the supply will balance out. SG people have been great to deal with.

Well, my 2 cents...in July 2011, I ordered a full 2000rd case of SS197SR for $727.99/$44 shipping from fivesevenammo.com. (sure happy I STILL have ALL of remaining!) It went off sale pricing the day BEFORE my order but, he honored the sale price. It arrived a week later via UPS. Seemed like a nice guy to deal with at the time.

I had a case in my cart and was checking out when I discovered the fivesevenforum.com site (and your original post). I found the same ammo on bass pro for approximately the same price and have been informed that it will be fulfilled early next week.

Thanks for your heads up (and the informative site).

Has anyone purchased anything from fivesevenammo.com? I have had an order with them for weeks and still have not seen delivery. They claim every time I ask that it will be shipped "right away". I would cancel but they have a %15 percent cencellation [policy and I think they are just trying to collect the %15.

Merged with the fivesevenammo thread.

Read the previous posts mauchan, you'll see they have a rather poor reputation. The "tactical search function" also provided another thread regarding them:

Did you try the search function?

Last year I ordered two cases of 5.7 from this company and both orders were filled.....eventually; as in when he gets the ammo. I placed an order for two cases about two months ago. If he ever gets the ammo he will honor the price when the order was placed and ship it. It may take a year but so what? He has good pricing and the ammo has been fresh. Just another inefficient operator in the firearms business. Mmmmm....like the defunct Empire arms....or the clowns who run Dakota Arms.....defunct A Square....geez, I could go on all day. All of these companies had/have a good product, however, delivery of that product was/is a nightmare experience. Just hope my ammo appears one day. My Card has not been charged.
