Biggest change for me was the safety/decocker. Placement and function is like a 1911 (allowing cocked and locked carry) with the addition of also functioning as a decocker.

the single action trigger on them feels very smooth. the one thing though that i've noticed on both pistols is that there is a slight "tick" on the first trigger pull. i'm assuming this is normal. i've yet to shoot them. i just got them yesterday. :) i gave them a nice cleaning. hopefully i'll get ...

I have never shot an FNP, but I suspect they are the same too. Definitely reminded me of a USP, not so much a P99, but those have odd triggers

Well, good news! It does not pinch shooting (see backstrap thread). Trigger is interesting and will take some getting used to. it pivots like a HP but it is flat and does not curve at the end. Apparently I am used to the hook at the bottom and found my finger sliding to the bottom and hitting the bo...

FN's offical answer via Bob A. = WWB is longer than SAMMI spec. The solution is to not use WWB. Not quite the answer I wanted, but I will deal I guess... Just have to find a shop that carries Remington or Federal... Umm..I don't want to seem like Mr. Negative here, but does that seem like an accept...

Ok, have an update, sort of. I got a return call from FN. I guess they were all out at the NRA Show. They should really update their phone message that responses may take a few days. Anyhoo, they did not really see the loose straps as a problem and the rep told me to shoot it and if it was a problem...

Shop hadn't heard anything but also said I have one of the first FNX they had sold.

+1 on that. I will stop by my local shop and see if the rep has told them anything. I am glad they are addressing it.

Only slightly related and advantageous to me, I recently got a Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe for my M&Ps. The FNX fits in it just fine!

Well, it wasn't me -- My father left me the T-series and that original receipt from 1969. So, I am actually not sure what the circled # is either (LOL) but the original price of the Browning HiPower was 104.50! My local shop has a new one almost identical (polished blue, walnut grips) but it was $86...

I've been thinking about the NP3 coating for a future firearm, a CZ. Just a thought on that--The teflon impregnation in NP3 which makes it self-lubricating (and simple to clean) also makes it VERY slick to the touch. The CZ narrow top of slide and small cocking serrations may make it a little hard ...

It did, large and small - serrated and checkered. The checkered are super sharp. Which ones did your FNP come with?
