WA State Assault Rifle Ban?
Did anyone else in Washington see the Seattle news last night about the great, save-the-day gun ban that is being proposed in the state? Hey Josh, The extra power mag springs that EA sells are a little bit longer even than the 30-round mag extension springs, so I don't see why they wouldn't work, and I don't think they would have any reduced capacity problems. Re: Another noobie with positive FN and EA experience...
I am glad you like the ProtecTORs! A little more POP then factory stuff I bet! Yeah, its was kind of like the first time I shot a .40S&W, I started with the "low recoil" SD rounds from Federal, then about got knocked down when I first shot Cor-Bon's highest pressure loads. I don't have a chrony, bu...

Another noobie with positive FN and EA experience...
I've had a FsN for about five months now, but, due to the snow and the lack of any indoor ranges in my area, I just got out to shoot it this weekend. Just wanted to point out that I shot 150 SS195's (newer, blue box stuff), 100 SS197's, and 50 ProtecTORs, out of a never-fired FsN, and never had anyt...

Re: which nano
Yeah, MO, I agree that I see no way his "treatment" could work, speaking physiologically. I'm hoping Arnie can produce a scientific citation, so he can prove us wrong. And at the least, save some shred of his own dignity and give ACTUAL evidence, other than "hey, some guys working on a bridge somewh...

Re: which nano
Mr. Arnold, I am mostly a lurker on this and other forums, but I consider this to be one of the more fact-based and helpful firearm forums on the web. I am fully aware that many concerns have already been addressed and replied to by MO and others, but, myself being a Medical Doctor, I am very concer...

Re: Protector vs. Varmintor?
Thanks guys!
You actually should have said the varmintor was better, since I already have a bunch of protectors, and then I would have bought a ton of varmintors!
Too bad you run a reputable business!

Protector vs. Varmintor?
I apologize of this has been brought up before, But does anyone have opinions on which cartridge is better for self-defense/home-defense? Near as I can tell, EA is using deforming bullets in both, from two different companies, and both travel about the same speed, 2080fps vs 2100fps in a FsN. Which ...

Does anybody know what size bore brush that Vitaliy is using in the video for the bottleneck end of the barrel?

Any good auction sites?
Hey Everybody, Just wondering if anyone knows of any good web-based gun auction sites? I mean, other than GunBroker, that is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. (I just looked and found a guy trying to sell two USED 20-round FsN mags for $125!!!) Is the FN market squeezed so tight right now that stuff is selli...

Re: Improved FN USG 5.7 barrel?
There is a website (I'll have to find it, because I can't remember the address right now) that is selling a "ported 5.7 barrel" for about $180, and its been sold out for a long time. Maybe this is what you heard?

Thanks again
I agree, I'm gonna shoot the hell out of those 195's, while I'm waiting for my EA ammo to come in.

Stupid Noob question re: SS195LF
Hey Guys, I have a dumb question: Where did everybody get the info that the SS195 has a lead-free primer, or is that just a prevalent urban myth? The primers on both my SS195's and SS197's look exactly the same, both are silver-colored, AND the box they come in describes the SS195 as having a lead-f...

aGrip for FsN?
Hey Guys, I've never posted here before, but have been lurking for a while; you guys have been really helpful in getting info on the FsN, which I think is a great firearm. The tip about the mags from Botach helped me out a lot, because I've been needing some more mags for a while. Anyway, thanks for...
