Re: War with Iran?
If the Imams of Iran desire armageddon, we'll be more than glad to serve it up to them in spades. Too bad the people of that country have to suffer under the leadership of a bunch of fanatical old men. Iran's only hope is internal revolution; too bad Obama lacked the balls to stir the pot when it ne...

Re: FNP 45 Competition
I got a question...
The FNP-45C doesn't have the suppressor sights on it, so how does an optic Co-witness with it? I'd say THEY DON't, therefore the abiliy to put a reflex sight on it is severely degraded.
Can I just get an FNP-45T without a threaded barrel instead?

I think Delta was the same way Irish, then they started making Chuck Norris movies about it. Iran has been blathering about shutting down the straits of hormuz for like 30 years. Say what you will about the teething problems, I love my P238. Re: Cheapest AR-15
Any 2-buck-chuck with a CNC machine seems to be able to pump out AR receivers these days. Shouldn't be hard for him to find one at a gunshow WELL under $1000 complete.

I'm interested in a couple of them as conveneient shotguns I could put in my vehicles or a boat, simply becuase of their convenient length and relative cost. I think you can get away with a generic AR for like $650, NIB.

I think I'm inferring too much data in your post. Couple questions to clarify. 1) You have an FN FiveseveN 5.7x28 USG (US Govt Model), right? 2) You bought the gun new, used, what condition? 3) You are saying that the gun fires and ejects spent casings normally, correct? 4) The problem is that the w...

How to get a good deal on a Suppressor?!
I've got a few suppressors in my intenventory, looking to double that figure this coming spring. The only way I've bought suppressors in the past is straight from the high-markup retail gun store, at asking price, little-to-no negotiation. Of course you pay full price up front, plus the $200 tax sta...

This being an FN Forum, I can't imagine too many ACR purchasers, considering that the SCAR and ACR are basically in identical categories with somewhat identical capabilities.

INterestingly enough, we always fly with Sig P228s, I guess the Navy finally got sick of buying Beretta 92s... doesn't make much differen...

I'm not against the ACR, and the "theory" of the multicaliber gun is pretty sound if they can actually get it to work the way it should. Reflex sight matters, will put you in a optics/open division, depending on what kind of 3G you shoot. It's not exactly very centralized nor regulated, so rules can change per competition. You can use your FNTAC .45 in any division, but would do best in Heavy Metal. You're reading the USPSA rule boo...

Re: FNP-45T in competition?
After reviewing the USPSA rules book, it looks like if you're going to run the FNP-45T with an RMR or DeltaPoint on top, it will have to go in the Open division. As the FNP is not compensated in any way (although it could be), its probably somewhat of a disadvantage. So using the FNP-45T in the Prod...

I'd rather they go the pistol route and make something comparable to the HK MP-7 that uses 20rd Fsn Mags in stock length, and optional extnded 30 and 40rd mags. A pistol is a lot easier to make into an SBR with the simple addition of a foregrip and folding/telescopoing stock. I emailed FN directl on...

I was calling the influx of AR companies the bozo's, not the owners. I myself have owned two AR's, in fact, the AR was my first purchase of a semi long gun, some dozen or so years ago. I can't disagree with this post more. The military is slowly switching to piston ARs for their combat arms echelons. And the 300AAC is a terrible round choice if you want change. It is designed for suppressor use. General military has zero need for it. 6.5 is probably the best for our type of warfa...

What are you thinking about for Optics? I wish there was enough room for a set of rear BUIS behind the PEPR mount, doesn't look like there is.

Seems to be a lot of discussion on what you want out of a Gun that you're going to strap to your side if the SHTF. For BUG-IN, the sky is the limit, knock yourself out. You can have an entire arsenal and stockpile if you can pull it off... the point is moot. But for BUGOUT, you have to assume worst ...
