Re: 3x Magnifier and...?

I use a 3x FTS and EoTech 552. What Wolly said about a little bit of sight hood intrusion nito the top of the 3x view is correct, however it does not interfere in any significant way. My rig is mounted on a Magparts tactical optical rail. There's just enough real estate to get both the 552 and the 3...

Re: Informal Poll: PS90 trigger pull weight

Question #1- What is the weight of your PS90 trigger pull ??- No gauge, but I'd estimate weight at about eight pounds. Question #2- Has your trigger weight changed since you first got it ?? No. Question #3- Do you store/keep your weapon "cocked n' locked" or with the hammer down ?? Hammer down on an...

Re: Here you go PanzerMK2

Yours Elmer? Yup, built it in 2001. I blow the dust off it once a year or so, charge the batteries and fire it up. It was about a three month build project. I just shot the video on a memory stick. One of these days when the weather gets better, I'll take it outside and shoot some HD video on tape....

Re: Bringing Privately Owned Weapons to War

It's not fair to say that personally owned weapons are never allowed. My CO on board a destroyer allowed me to bring both my Beretta 92F and M-1A aboard during the late '80's when we were doing convoy escort and patrols in the southern Persian Gulf and Straits of Hormuz. We were concerned with the p...

Re: Who writes these laws?

I dont no if anyone remembers but I remember awhile back someone posted a article about some old guy who still lived with his mother got arrested for shooting his lawnmower. :skep: If I am not mistaking, his neighbors called the cops on him. :?: Yes you are right User42. I forgot about that! :thumb...

Re: Here you go PanzerMK2

I built this 1/16 R/C Tiger about five years ago. It's motorized with sound. When you fire the main gun, there's a strobe in the end of the barrel that flashes, you get the sound of the gun firing, and the tank rocks back on it's treads while the gun recoils into it's housing. Here's a few still pic...

Nope, no ever called in sick for me :p But, did they ever say they were sick "of" you? Sorry, couldn't resist. :lmao: I'm surprised he didn't refer to those folks as WOGs. That was the favorite Brit reference I remember from my time there at their staff college describing anyone from the East - and...

Mrs. Fudd opens her Christmas gift from me to find a brank spanking new Beretta Model 84 in .380. She was the protective ser...

Re: The shadow of the Wehrmacht

Some guys liked to stick their spitter in their armor right in front, so they could just sort of spit down into it without taking their hands off the controls or anything. It is all good until you have to do a cyclic climb and then top it, going into negative Gs, and the stuff floats out all over y...

House rules for the helo det on my destroyer were:

#1. No smoking 12 hours before flight and,

#2. No drinking within 50 feet of the aircraft.

Elite Custom Ammo: X-TerminaTOR

I just received a lot of custom ammo from Elite designed for the upcoming whitetail deer hunting season. Now, I usually can be found with my trusty 30-06 because that's a very effective cartridge, but was interested in the PS90 for those short-ranged scenarios where speed, portability and quick targ...

Re: EOTech mount on PS-90

The TROS ultralow mounts are very nice, but you lose the ability to mount any other accessories on the top (like a magnifier). That's why I used magparts extended top rail - I could get my EoTech and a magnifier onto one rail. Cheekweld is important on an iron sighted weapon, but less so with an opt...
