6.4-6.6 is likely top end for 40gr vmax.

With the DT CAOS allowing a more optimal mounting solution, who makes a holster than can accommodate an rds equipped FN 5.7?

So, I've seen google images of Red dots on FN 5.7 pistols. I have not seen what the sight picture looks like, nor whether a RDS is compatible w conceal carry. The factory sights are inexplicably not night sights. I want to carry this pistol, but need it to be usable at night in low light situations....

What is the concensus? Is it better to shoot the lighter bullets at high vel, the mid weights at mid or heavy slower?

For instance:

36gr Barnes VG @ 2000-2080ft/s

40gr Vmax @ 1900-2000ft/s+

52 gr HPBT @ 1600-1800 ft/s

What is/are advantages of each?

Most of the shots were taken with my suppressor on...which explains the dirt on the cases.

I will re-shoot these loads at my normal range with & without suppressor and see what difference it makes on the cases.

I shoot high power rifle competitions, and prone matches (Service rifle class with iron sights); Midrange (600yds) & long range (1,000yards)

This is my 5.7 pistol. The walls of the indoor range would cause the bullets to be deflected forward and not recoverable.
