Re: P90 used by Waco SWAT

The PS90 is a really nice weapon in my view for this kind of situation. My mags would not contain a single type of round but several stacked. Start with a Ss190 followed by a fragmenting round followed by a incederary round. All my shots would be head shots or groin shots. It's hard to shoot back wi...

How deadly is the 5.7 in real life,or death

Other than the infamous army shooting when the 5.7 proved very effective sad to say. Is there any other real life situations where the 5.7 has been used and what were the results?

Re: Reloading equipment for 5.7x28mm

I also started carrying and recommending CH4D dies after the good results forum members had been having with them. When more then a few senior forum members had great results with CH4D I ordered a set and started testing them. Based on that additional testing I not only started suggesting using the...

Re: Reloading equipment for 5.7x28mm

I've just ordered the Lee dies. The CH4d seem to have a long lead time.
Sorry, no offence intended.

Hang on a minute, Ive just ordered LEE dies based upon your previous recommendations. Now your saying don't buy LEE dies? Should I cancel the order? And what to get now?

Mossberg 500 with alternate rounds of buck shot and Sabot. Believe me, I know it works

Re: Cleaner/Lubricant for Five Seven??

I'm ex British Military and a sailor to boot. I checked down at San Diego with a couple of SOG guys, and it seems they might well use FrogLube. I put it on my P7m8 and all was great, I was worried about salt air and all that. I didn't fire it for a month or two and when I did I had a malfunction , t...

Measuring powder with a Dillon 550B

Can you get good results with using the powder dispenser provided with the Dillon 550B, I assume you would use the small powder bar. I know that it's recommended when loading 5.7 you need to be accurate to within .1 grains. Or should I use a scale for every round, in which case there is not much rea...

I would love for you to accurize my 5.7, but I just can't afford it. But you will be hearing from me in a day or two ordering some reloading parts.
Thanks

Bingo for this exact reason.

You going to let us in on the secret? Please.

Re: Removing the mag "safety"?

I'm thinking you did something wrong. My mag safety was removed during accurizing from Elite Ammunition and while it is not ejected anymore (as it was with the factory mag safety installation), it is not restrained in any way. The mag falls free due to gravity as soon as I hit the release. Did you ...

Re: Removing the mag "safety"?

I have a brand new 5.7 and I decided to remove the mag safety. Easy. But on the range today I discovered that I could not drop a empty mag with the slide back. The only way to reload was to release the slide, drop the empty mag, insert a new mag and finally manually cock the gun. As soon as I got ho...

Re: Primer Pockets - How clean do they need to be?

I used both a primer pocket uniformer and a primer pocket brush on my first 150 rounds. The brass comes out of the tumbler pretty clean, except for the "stripes" I mentioned above. Does it affect performance or the life of the primer or powder if those stripes are left in there? It would sure make ...
