The muzzle blast would be excessive, sort of like firing off a 7.62x25mm from something the size of a Shield or Glock 43. Beyond that, you'd lose too much muzzle velocity and it might become ballistically what the detractors call it; a souped up .22.

I don't give any company that sort of pass, Jay. They may have some good products, but there's a good reason why Glock went to a FML magazine. For me, I'll stick with OEM mags for my Glocks until these have a very long and very proven track record.

Magpul has a pretty high bar to get over when it comes to Glock mags. If they aren't metal lined, I'm not sure how well they'll function when compared to the current generation of G-17 mags.

If you contact Walther, ask for a spare or two of the cross pins that hold the backstrap tot he frame. A buddy lost the pin one of his (forget the make/model) but it made it very inconvenient to shoot until it was replaced.
