the rifle is very quiet and you feel no recoil. I think the figure was ubder .5# of recoil enegry when i ran the numbers.

i had bought it to use on suburban deer. I have burst a few tree rats. takes heads off.

its my inderstanding that the report carries less over distance that the supersonic crack. and that a subsonic loading fired at +/- 90 degrees would reduce the signature at distance greatly.

there is no prohibition against the use of 22LR to hunt deer on private land in South Carolina.
That should make the neighbors happy.
