Here is a pic of my 'camp' knife. I made it in a knife making class I took.

Re: FsN-Friendly Ranges

The "Ready Line" range in the Cincinnati, Oh area is very 5.7 friendly. The range has 25 and 100 yard indoor lanes and is very new, well kept, with a very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Something a little different...they will rent you a fully auto p90 and provide ammunition @45.00 per magazine. The...

Re: Is your weapon collection complete?

I believe that guns are tools and you should have what you NEED. Self protection is one thing, subsistence hunting is another. Make sure you have the right tool for the job. If money is no object, buy what you want. As far as posting your guns on the internet just to show them off equates to penis e...

Re: Has the recent panic killed interest in the 5.7x28, foru

I lurk a lot and one time, I even posted a question. It was about a warranty, if any, on ammunition that had been re-loaded. Not only did I not get any answer from the leading mfg. of re-loads, I received a bunch of hate-mail...all from this mfg. So, I don't post anymore.

Re: FN-57 Prices

These prices are crazy. I have a ps90 (1st. gen), a 5.7 pistol, and about 2000 rds of ammo (asst--NO EA AMMO) that I am thinking about selling. Any idea of what it's worth? ...Teddy

ps90 Brass Catcher

FINALLY, after closing my goldsmithing studio after 30 years, I have time to shoot my ps90. I've got plenty of ammo, but am aware of the current shortage. Therefore, I am saving my brass and am tired of trying to retrieve shell casings on the range floor. So... I am looking for a brass catcher for m...

Re: WTB 1 box of ss198lf or ss195 for new FiveseveN owner

You know those days when you put on a jacket you haven't worn in a while and find a $20 in the pocket? Totally makes your day. Well, I went to the range on Saturday and grabbed a range bag I haven't used in a while. In it I found SIX!! PS90 mags I had totally forgotten about. All LOADED!!. Totally ...

Re: Ever consider trading your 5-7 for a knife?

These are push daggers??????? Jeez.... OK, I'll trade. I want 28 of the knives you mentioned, along with $1,200.00 cash. And the knives I own all serve a purpose, but offensive or defensive action is not one of them. Unless, of course, it's all you have. And, you have the proper training. Otherwise,...

Re: Concealed carry - smaller gun

One gun that hasn't been mentioned, but is a favorite of mine, is the North American single action revolver, in either .22LR or .22 mag. All stainless, goes easily into any pocket w/o a holster. It has a learning curve for accurate use. Can be carried in a neck holster, belt buckle, or in the provid...

Re: So discourged

I don't post much on this list since the Elite Ammunition crowd jumped all over me for questioning their warranty policy when a 57 pops the slide cover. Anyway, here's what I do to score 5.7 ammunition. Craigslist... Run an ad offering to buy "standard" ammunition and state your price. Run it for a ...

Re: C'mon Elite. Shipping :(

Personally, I don't think the shipping charges are out of line . It's all a matter of time. They mfg. their product right here in the good ole USA and it is a labor intensive operation...especially for a small shop. I had a small shop for 28 years and I can vouch for the ineptitude of the USPS. The ...

Re: A re-loaders responsibility

Where are you buying "re-loaded" ammo ?? Or are you worried about ammo mfg. from other sources than FN? I was "thinking" about trying some re-loaded ammunition from places like Elite Ammunition, and I have seen a couple of threads about re-loaded ammunition going bad and damaging both gun and hands...

A re-loaders responsibility

I am seeking an answer to a simple question. FN does not warrant its products when re-loaded ammunition is used. I was told this in a call to FN as 1) the pressures used in factory loaded ammunition is up to the safety margins of the materials used in the production of the weapon and 2) FN can't be ...
