Neck separation is not the issue. The case not sealing and staying in the chamber would be.

Correct that is what I meant. I worded it incorrectly.

I wonder how Win 572 would work? Slightly faster than HS-7

Basically for 40 grain bullets. What's the slowest one can get by without neck separation??

6 gr of blue dot with a 40 GR gives me about 1700 fps

Reports are that the pistol locks until powder is burned and projectile leaves the barrel.

Thanks for your email. We don’t make the shell plate just because when you try to decap the primer out of head it will push the case into the spent primer tube as they are the same size.

I have to say that I like the CFE 4.8 loads. I shot 50 of them today. All polished brass, trimmed and loaded to 1.57. Every one shot great, accurate and light recoil. 6gr BD with a 40 gr is my go to load

Here are 2 magazines from a FNH FNS9. These hold 16 rounds of 9mm and are bright steel the flash almost makes them look blued. They also work in my 9mm FNX . That is what I wanted to know. So far BD is the slowest I have used. Did not know 105 and AA#9 were good candidates.

I do now that N110 H110 and LILgun will not work in the FN pistol.

The issue with BD is that it's such a light flake powder it is easy for static to build up in the powder measure. Problems start when some of a charge is suspended in the funnel. I know quickload does not work well with this round. That said some of the sims I ran with LILGUN etc gave some outstanding velocities. I know you can not safely use those powders safely in the pistol.

What powders (slowest) do you use.
