SCAR 16 Optics/Bipod

I bought my SCAR 16 a few weeks back and now it's time to start buying accessories. :D I have been asking around about optics but would also like to get a wider audience's view. My main use of the gun will to have fun at the range. Any suggestion? Any thoughts on bipods? https://lh5.googleuserconten...

Haven't really thought about it yet (drained my bank account on the gun). The only think I am planning on getting soon would be a case. Any suggestions? The pelican Storm cases look nice.

Shooting the SCAR Lefty?

So I have been thinking about my next purchase and I am leaning towards a SCAR. The problem is I am lefty and not sure if the ejecting brass will cause any issues for me. The only rifles I have ever shot were all bolt action so don’t have any experience with a semi-auto. Are there any lefties out th...

Re: SCAR rifles legal in CT?

I found a local dealer who had one in stock. In order to be legal in CT the muzzle break and stock have to be pinned.

Re: SCAR rifles legal in CT?

Thanks all! I cannot wait to get one

I am going to stop by my local dealer soon and go over all this with him.

So overall you think keeping the stock and fixing the muzzle break in place is better option than putting a fixed stock on?

I believe it falls into the assault weapon category which are illegal in Connecticut. http://www.jud.ct.gov/JI/criminal/glossary/assaultweapon.htm "Assault weapon" means any one of the following: 1. Any selective-fire firearm capable of fully automatic, semiautomatic or burst fire at the option of t...

Local church honors those who died

So I was driving around town today and came across a church that put up a flag for ever soldier who gave his or her life in Afghanistan and Iraq. I was only able to get a shot from the side. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_Wp5zZDAxpjQ/TcXiqF8-hoI/AAAAAAAAACQ/OFBNySoNNyg/IMAG0038.jpg https://lh4.g...

Re: Beretta PX4 law enforcement package

I am not dead set on the PX4 or the .40. A friend of mine is selling the PX4 and since I am in the market for a new pistol I wanted to see what you guys thought before I made any decisions. I was leaning towards a HK. Any views on them? What models would you recommend? Besides the FiveseveN all my o...

It's great to shoot. Wilson makes a fine gun. The extra weight at the end of the flanged cone barrel really makes a difference.

First off I want to thank everyone for all the useful posts. There is a ton of helpful information here. I purchased my FiveseveN last week and cannot wait to shoot it. This is the first non .45 pistol I have owned. After reading several posts I decided to go with EA ammo. As soon as it arrives I kn...
