Re: Hollywood?

Saw a black Five-seveN in the movie Transcendence the other week. The camera spent quite a bit of time on the gun (both side and muzzle angles) so you were able to easily identify it. The guy holding the FsN was being mind-controlled and just kind of held it out there for all to see if I remember co...

Re: how many layers of kevlar on average are in a level 3A v

Im just very uneducated when it comes to vest so thank you guys for chiming in a little bit. So it has to do with how they are woven huh? And im sure there is different kevlar Materials as well. http://www.bulletproofme.com/Ballistic_Protection_Levels.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return f...

Re: Pretty damn depressed and had a weak moment

I don't know about SS195, but SS197 and AE5728 seem to be getting a lot cheaper lately, which is good to see. Have you looked into SS198? It's not exactly cheap, but prices seem a bit lower for that too lately, and it's good ammo. That's a good point. SS198 is indeed a better deal right now than SS...

Oh nevermind, I just checked closely and yours doesn't appear to be a DAO.

If your gun is a DAO, one just sold on Gunbroker for 3,500.

I wouldn't shoot it. Do you know what year the gun was manufactured?

Re: Help Finding A Five Seven

Well, now I have another question. I've called three places around, and all three are to call me if they can Get a Five-Seven In. My question is, what has happened to these pistols? One place I called, Freedom Ammunition, Has two on backorder and is supposed to call me when they come in. But why ar...

Re: SS198LF vs. SS197SR ammo for storage

All I have ever fired was SS195 for practice, and cleaning my gun after firing 150rds or so seems almost pointless as it is always very clean. Store your SS195 in an ammo box with plenty of desiccant packs and you should be good to go for at least 10 years, but probably much, much longer. I have nev...

Re: Pretty damn depressed and had a weak moment

SnK... I've got a safe full of various arms. Rifles of all calibers from .17 to 45-70, and handguns from 4.25mm (a "Lilliput") through the Dirty Harry .44Mag to .45 Colt, and almost a continuum in between. At various times, I muse about selling one or more, followed by which one(s) would I sell. In...

Re: Pretty damn depressed and had a weak moment

I only have about 400 rounds left of my reloaded ss195 for self defense. Im going to end up reloading the 1X brass With The 40 Grain V-max I Want To ...

Pretty damn depressed and had a weak moment

I hardly use my FsN anymore due to the fact that I can't justify shooting ammo that has an economic value of a dollar or greater per round. As many on here know, I have the fixed sight model which is set from the factory for SS195. Well since I can no longer get any more SS195, I just keep it sealed...

Just saw this at Cabela's but I think I will pass at 30/box. It is comforting though to see such a nice, pretty stack.

Re: Mag Clamp

Okay, I did some searching on the other forum and found that the double mag dealio is not all it's cracked up to be. Apparently rounds can shake loose on the second mag while firing from the first mag. It's one of those things noob ps90 owners always go for first. lol

Mag Clamp

I am going to try an Aimpoint type optic on my standard rail. I'm thinking a mag clamp will allow me to get a better cheek weld. Is Damage Industries the place to get a mag clamp now?

Hmmm.. I put a little black wheel bearing grease on the slide rails. It was an old AK trick I learned. You think I should stop? The stuff works really good.

Re: Finally got a PS90

A gunbroker auction. The prices are really coming down. I was scared a few months back that I might have missed the boat on the PS90. I was actually considering buying a 5.7 upper for a while. I'm happy and anxiously awaiting it's arrival.

Re: Loading the PS90 Magazine

I see that back in January of 2009, I posted my problems with loading the PS90 magazine--the same as others are having. IFire's video made it look simple, but it was then, and remains, a pain in the a$$. The other day, I decided I'd try loading it from the base end, then compress the spring and loc...
