That coating has to be there to feed in the ps90 magazine. I think I remember readin it isn't as necissary for the five-seven though. Brother in Mud , Brother in Blood Armor Man . Thanks for pointers as I am used to commie ammo having a slick coating of lacquer for their poly mags , which we remove...

You probably could anneal the case, then recoat it with laquer, but the time and expense just isn't cost effective. Primer pockets start loosening up before I have had the need to anneal a 5.7 case. I appreciate your response on this issue because I was curious about Annealing the case .I have not ...

I have two questions , to treat the work hardening of the front shoulder and neck of the 5.7 X 28 Brass , has anybody tried Annealing the brass with a torch so it won't work harden and crack ? Has anybody tried Annealing the front Neck so they won't work harden as quickly ? I have done this with many different types of rifle cases over the years and it really helped .
