SOLD - Threaded FiveSeven barrel for factory barrel

"Sold" pending trade A few years ago I got my factory FiveSeven barrel threaded for a can. Now I'm moving to California and need a non-threaded barrel. I'm looking to trade my threaded barrel for a factory barrel. 10x1 threading. Comes with thread protector. 1000 - 2000 rounds shot through it in it...

Re: EA Shooter: To the RUGER WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in NM

Jay & Lisa at EA (ok that was two reasons :D). They sponsor my FsN IDPA and night matches. It's been a couple months since I've been able to make an IDPA shoot around here, but I'm curious as to what class you shoot your fiveseven in. Last I knew, it didn't meet the power floor in any of the stock ...

Re: All Black FiveseveN

most of them are fairly straightforward with a bit of observation, forethought, and care. the hardest one for me was the magazine release. unless jay and FN has some secret method i don't know about, the only way i was able to securely attach the new control was very carefully, with a vice, because ...

i had to call customer support and order all of the controls and specify black. they were really helpful and easy to deal with.

Re: Sidearmor holster

i have an IWB from sidearmor for my fiveseven. i had issues with both the hooks and the closed loop attachments cracking. i eventually had an attachment made for me out of stainless steel. other than that, the holster is great and sidearmor's customer service was good.

Re: FNX-40 CCW ??

I have a stainless USP Compact in .40 and it is extremely comfortable to carry with my Bladetech IWB. It's actually a bit more comfortable to carry than my fiveseven and groups like a champ.

I got mine yesterday and it's wonderful. It works as designed and confirmed my suspicion that I wasn't sizing my shoulders back quite far enough.

Good work.

Re: Presses options

i use an original RCBS Rockchucker with a Piggyback progressive conversion. RCBS sells a factory plate for 5.7x28 (#45). I've had no issues using this setup when properly set up and configured.

in the interest of thoroughness, you should try the clean mags with the old springs in order to determine which element was responsible for jamming.

Re: Rim Problems

i have had similar problems with my hornady die. in my case, the die was set a bit too low and the base of the decapping pin was pressing against the flash hole and deforming the rim. trying backing out your die a bit and seeing if that relieves the problem.

I don't know if this is the officially correct answer, but some finesse with a vice got the job done for me.

Are you referring to Spectre cans that you have on order or to a batch of Spectres in general?

I ask because I put one on order two ago and i'm wondering if i'm still waiting for them to make a new batch.

you can order them directly from FN. i did that today. it was like $16 shipped.

in fact, when i called and said i was looking for fiveseven control switches, the first thing the rep said was, "they come in black now, you know."

Fiveseven Disassembly

I'm thinking about ordering a set of black controls for pistol and was wondering, for all of you out there with experience disassembling your fiveseven's, if there is a guide someone could point me to or, *crosses fingers* could quickly make up? i've used the forum search, i've used google, i've use...
