maby its the weak 197 ammo? if 5.2 gr. of true blue = 197 I just guessed that its piss poor ammo for the cartridge capability. I suggest getting some EA ammo w/ 40 grainers and compare zero's. might shoot a bit higher.

I know pre-1984 pennies are copper. would it be possible to swage a penny?

My reply had nothing to do with worrying. I don't worry about nothin . I'm all about science though. So throat erosion does not occur in the Fiveseven enough to effect accuracy or wear the barrel before the published 20,000 round count. Cool. Thanks.

I read somewhere that with rifle rounds anyway, throat erosion is what wears a barrel out. they had a spec about so many rounds= so many thousands of an inch erosion, with accuracy dropping faster the more the wear. the more the bullet jump to lands the less accuracy maybe? might also have to do wit...
