GONRA loads 9mm and .45 ACP SMG ammo on my Dillon.
But one should carefully load ANY 5.7x28mm FN ammo on a SINGLE STAGE PRESS, CAREFULLY WEIGHING POWDER CHARGES, to avoid chambering issues and worse yet - KABOOMS!

GONRA has excellent luck screwing around with "subsonic loads" using a Very Thin Film of STP OIl Treatment on EA 07 brass handloads.
Get fingers slippery with STP Oil Treatment, rub loaded ammo cartridge cases - Blast Away!

Those little blown out brass discs are where the firing pin channel debris comes from.
Maybe you have all the fired brass to date and can figger it out?

line it all up to any rotational "sweet spot" in yer particluar press,
(make it a Nice Robust Press, even it looks like "overkill"- to mantain headpace)
use STP Oil Treatment for a sizing lube.

GONRA's experience is that you're best served to "resize 5.7 brass" on a large robust single stage press to get consistant headspace. Fired 5.7 cases can/will hava a "body bulge" that is really different from the usual reloading we all are used to. RCBS SMALL BASE dies verk great for me.

GONRA sez be SURE to use an EXTREMEY THIN lube coat.
Make sure it doesn't buildup in the neck of the chamber.
(Maybe it Just Won't Build Up of course.)

Greasing cartridges is a nice workaround for all sorts of military semiauto functioning problems.
But its another case of MORE is BAAAAAD!

Setup my RCBS Chargemaster to tare on my "usual beam balance scale" Powder Pan.
Drop the Powder Charge.

Transfer Powder Pan back to my "usual beam balance scale" to double check weight.

You CANNOT SCREWUP on 5.7X28FN reloading.....

GONRA needs a suggestion for a "neck brace". Gotta neck kink (probably NOT from lawn cutting) so need a "neck brace" during 30-40 minutes eXmark zero turn mowing on slightly bumpy terrain. (Noted ITA-MED Rigid Plastic Cervical Collar sold by Wal*Mart and others. Is THAT any good?) Thanx in advance!

that could NOT be assembled into 5.7x28FN ammo with Factory OAL.

GONRA hates to be a "wet blanket"
but developing a subsonic load for this modified blowback pistol
(bullet HAS to exit barrel - or KABOOM!) is best done by "someone else".

If you just haveto do it, remote test firing would be best,
then add a little more powder for your Official Load.

As usual, GONRA suggests trying STP Oil Treatment asa case lube. May have to rotate case holder to find a "sweet spot" - best axial alignment in your press. If THAT verks, then you know YOUR current case lube isn't OK for YOUR application. This lube, plus RCBS SMALL BASE dies verk Just Fine for me.....

Whilst GONRA is a STP Oil Treatment "case lube promoter" remember that Tri-Flow synthetic grease (3 oz. tubes available in bike shops, maybe Auto Parts stores?) is really good too! Preferred lube for .50 BMG. 3 oz. tube does at least 1200 "scrap dealer case resizing preps". Tube makes it really easy...

GONRA uses the RCBS combo electronic unit with my BEAM SCALE pan. Then check the powder charge weight on trusty decades old BEAM SCALE. On Friday, September 6 - GONRA forgot to mention to be sure to seek any "axial alignment sweet spot"
in your reloading die setup by (if possible) rotating shell holder for minimum (hopefully NO) plastic coating damage.
