Re: I guess SS195lf is still in production!!!
Simpson's Hardware in Sumter, SC has the 5.7x28 AE ammo for $15.96 a box. It's so hard for me to not buy 100 rounds every time I walk in there. My buddy bought 500rnds the last time he was in there. He paid $172 out the door for 10 boxes.

I call this the Counter-Strike tactic! hehe... Funny but true... It's relevent in both FPS games and IRL. The whole point of firing center mass initially for me is merely to slow them down/disorient long enough to get a head/neck shot.
Great video.

So RCBS doesn't make them for the 5.7x28mm. They suggested EA. Unfortunately EA's website is having issues or is down because I'm unable to access it. :( I tried to call, but there wasn't an answer. (coulda left a message, but figured I'd just come here first. ) panzermk2, What's your cost on the sh...

Where are you guys ordering the Dillon dies? Has anyone used both the Dillon and the Lee? Which are working better with the 5.7 round?

Cheapest I saw was $23 at the gunshow this past weekend. Online I found a place that's selling 1000 for $349. (with about $10 more for shipping) That's about 18 bucks a box.

Re: ss197 jamming
So... I haven't seen anyone else post this, so I figured I'd chime in... When loading the magazine, make sure all of the rounds are as far back as possible. I have heard of feeding issues, if they're not. (happens with M16's/ARs as well, especially if the slide is slowed down by anything else. e.g.:...

Re: Help in Planning 5-7 Purchase
This is an idea I had not considered! I was thinking along the lines of having a chambered round at the ready to fire while reloading. It's been my experience that you always want to try to leave a round chambered when swapping mags so you don't have to release the slide and with some weapons, re-r...

Re: Help in Planning 5-7 Purchase
I don't understand why people think they are good. I hate the blasted thing. Just let me decock my gun when & how I want cuz I already put all my mags away (happens every time). Trigger improvement is just an added bonus. I guess it's the Marine in me... but I like to consider every situation, and ...

Why ban the guns when you can just kill off primer production? Seems like that's the way it is now a days... I just find it hard to believe that factories can't produce enough these days. When was the last time you could find winchester large rifle primers?? The only ones I see are a few boxes of Wo...

You are correct. Sorry I wasn't more specific. It is a federal crime to purchase a handgun in any other state than your state of residence it is also a federal crime to sell a handgun to a non resident You can only do so if you have the gun transferred to you through an FFL in your home state As per...

I love how we have become a nation of zero responsibility. To the point that our two largest political parties no longer take responsibility for almost anything and instead just point fingers at the "other guy" There's an article on CNN that highlights some of that as well... http://www.cnn.com/2010...

Re: Illinois declares war on gun ownership
I grew up in Illinois and never realized how much of a pain in the arse it was to own guns and buy ammo until I moved away and found out how easy everyone else has it... 99% of the gun laws are created because of Chicago I assume... I think they should make it a county or city law... not a state... ...

It's less recoil than a Beretta 92FS 9mm... Not that a 92FS kicks much anyways... Here's a vid showing the recoil of different weapons, including the FsN. Note the blow back from the LCP (first gun fired) You can feel it hitting your face. Also notice the difference between the first and second shot...
