Re: Hornady Black (90001) 40gr Vmax

Hornady is sending me 6 boxes of the Black as as well as the Critical Defense. I bought the 250 rounds for this testing from Patreon funds before I was able to get in contact with Hornady. They are using their own brass. The brass is on average 56gr vs the 60gr FN. It holds about 12.8gr of water vs...

Sounds like it's a ground up design that incorporates the grip, FCG, and some other parts from the PSA Rock pistol, but is more than just a pistol in a chassis like the Flux Raider.

PSA X57....I want one

This was a pretty cool reveal from PSA at SHOT. Looks like it's still in concept/prototype phase, so I'm not holding my breath, but this would make a fun little gun for hunting steel.

Welcome to reloading. Ref the failures to ignite. As you found out, that was likely from not having the primer seated all the way in the primer pocket. One way to see if you're not seating the primer deep enough is if all the failures to fire go off on the second attempt. This can mean the primer wa...

I have heard of a few making it over. When they turn up on GB though most often it's the airsoft nock off being sold as the real deal. I figured that last part might be the case. Anything electronic that cloners want, or can be faked for a huge profit, has been churned out of Chinese manufacturers.

Putting the rail on top would be nice, but in its current form it would obscure the optic. The other option is to do a "gooseneck" type mount like the old carry handle M68 CCO mounts. I went with EA's under barrel mount (don't have it in hand yet) as I wouldn't want the IR laser that close to the toasty can and, as Jay mentioned, you might run into clearance issues if you go to a bigger can and/or a thermal wrap. Re: My Lee Seating Die Doesn't Seat

Sounds like you have the die body screwed in too far and it's trying to seat and roll crimp at the same time. I can't recall 100% if the Lee 5.7 dies are designed to have the option set and crimp in one step, but I know other calibers can. This used to be in the instructions, but to negate the crimp...

Those Power Pistol loads look zippy! Please keep us updated on what a larger dataset gives you. I’ve been thinking about buying a new powder for 5.7, as I’m almost out of Auto-Comp, and had been leaning towards True Blue, but if the PP gives you speeds like that without overpressure that’d be amazing.

If you're only using one round at each charge weight, and then tweaking the BA to ge...
