Can I safely dremel the bolt on the m44 mosin nagant to make the action smoother?

After shooting a round I really have to uppercut that straight bolt to eject the spent round. (obv a common problem among mosins)

If so what should I grind and how much?

Since Taurus bought the rights to beretta I would think that the 92 model would be equal to or better than the original m9/92. At least that's what their website is saying.

If you have the 4.5lb NM RRA trigger it will not work on your 5.7 upper after the first round. Your, unfortunately, going to have to use the heavy stock trigger w/ the contoured hammer.

Try a new trigger..

Re: All I want for Christmas is...

I thought only the .50bmg was SPECIFICIALLY banned.

I believe you can have muzzle loaders and 50 beowulf....

The anzioworks websites states that their they have CA approved 50cals, but you have to CALL to get more info.

hmmmm now you got me thinking... :ponder:

CA banned the 50bmg, but they didn't ban the 20mm. 20 is smaller than a .22 so we should be straight :p .... I doubt even CA would buy 20mm is less than .22" Don't recommend testing that theory either  Local range here had a 50cal club shoot. For all those lucky bast**ds who grandfathered th...

That .338 rifle looks sweet. IMHO the 50bmg is over rated and not practical.
The .338 Lapua is perfect, w/o getting too ridiculous.

Re: ammo/ stopping power

May I suggest going back and retrying out the pistol. Your ammo might be a problem, and also most guns need breaking into. Try the regular blue tipped ammo and break in the gun thoroughly. May I ask if you used the white box ammo? (non blue tips?) Also how many rounds did you fire total? Welcome to ...

As a practical matter, I just prepay online and then schedule a pickup or try to coordinate with something that's inbound already. The drivers pretty much just pick it up and go about their business without any hassle. Tried that too, but it didn't work.... I wish the employees(UPS & Fedex) would b...

My personal experience. I was told I had to take ammo to UPS main hub, not a ups store. So I went to the one near the airport. The UPS lady there was cool with it. but before all this.... When I went to Fedex's hub, they were scared to even look at me and didn't want to recognize their policy. They ...

Thehammer, have you ever heard of the Glock 10mm pistols cracking(frame)?

I think Jay or MO were talking about it.
I have always been a glock fan though and regardless still glove my glocks...

Glad people are still keeping the 10mm popular.

They're gonna use that excuse that you weren't " trained" to be a renegade cop.

I would stick with the 00 buck as a final defense and last resort.

Chances are if you got a shotgun pointed at an intruder and they still don't run away from you or halt in their tracks then they mean you harm.

I guess I am going to get that Coast P7 8407.
It has great output and battery life.

GOsh all my old surefire and Streamlights are worthless now.
Incandescent is the thing of the past.
Even Homedepot has nice high output flashlights.

I give President Bush a lot of credit. He was an avid golfer who gave up the sport. He knew that men and women were dying for this country and for him to play golf would be hypocritical and frankly disrespectful to our soldiers. I am sure that lady was probably oblivious to the real world outside of...

I never had one, but this is what I know any lower should work, but becareful of match triggers. I know for sure that the RRA 2 stage trigger won't work on the ar57. It gets stuck after 1st round due to the shape of the hammer. OEM trigger works fine though. Empty a regular ar-15 mag, take the sprin...

Coast makes a 90 lumen LED that works GREAT. only costs 40 bucks and is as good as my surefire. It use AAA batteries and is tough as nails. Be careful which one you buy though. I don't want to pay more than $100 max. Seems like most of the ones I am looking for range from $40-100, have 60~120+ lumens and use 1 or 2 AA or AAA batteries. I would like something that has about the same amount of lumens as my E2D defender.. I had the incandescent one but then upgraded it to the...

Those cats were quite brazen. It was literally within about 7 yards from me.
At that range, I would risk a headshot.....

I tried to scare it away, but they are quite stubborn..... They'll return..
