Welcome, Texchappy! Great name!
I'll shoot you a PM. We have another chaplain on here. Also, I'm in Texas...if I infer your nickname, correctly.

Strike Industries is one of those companies that keeps coming out with innovative, really effective products that are seemingly engineered so effortlessly ... they remind me of Magpul, a lot. I can't think of another company so versatile in its portfolio that makes everything so streamlined and perf...

Re: Fightlight Multicaliber Pistol & Rifles
Forgot to add; I don't prefer any kind of caliber conversions; you always give up advantages/edge when you try to be a jack of all trade/master of none. That holds true with firearms... it's rarely worth it in the end and much more efficient to just buy a completely separate platform designed for th...

Re: American Eagle Ammunition
I actually get fluctuations batch to batch, cold/hot weather, on the FPS. Sometimes ss197 is hotter, sometimes AE is. They are both around 1600-1700fps.
The penetration on the FMJ is surprising.

I've been told the NRA was the one who gave this concession up. But also, I don't use bump stocks.

Have you seen the 40-50yr olds?
It started with the millennials and Gen Z was born into it, but the 40 and 50 yr olds are head down, staring at their screens, walking like zombies.

Re: New CZ-P-10 pistols being released
snakedoc; Echoing your comment; I was very excited to see an instagram post my fellow CZ friend linked me to; it showed the optic-ready fullsize P10F I'd been awaiting. Happy to hear it is being mfg in the US. Hope it doesn't take the route that SIG did when their guns started being mfg in the US. I...

I'm trying to get my bro to buy one so I can shoot it
I've shot XDms... their prococked striker = you can buy the gun 500 + insane/dont breathe trigger 200 and be $700-800 out the door with a badass supposedly match-accurate 10mm.

Re: New Springfield Armory XD 10mm
The Hydrashok is pretty weaksauce. They should have used Underwood; it is basic knowledge/common practice to exceed/overtest your equipment (EAA Witness/Stock3), not undertest it. Even (ew) Sig 10mm would have been better as it isn't underloaded. 2000 rounds is pretty fair. 5000 for 9mm. Then again,...

Re: Shooting on the move
So, lots of thoughts, but the answer is that if you are trying to hit a smaller/small target at 25yds, the best way to do it is to get to position as fast as possible and then engage; not shoot on the move. The whole definition of shooting on the move is fairly vague; if I break the shot as I come i...
