I saw this PX90 receiver on Gunbroker and did some google searches. I found the guy who makes them but don't see anything written in any of the forum communities about them so I thought I would ask. Has anyone had any contact with one of these babies??? PLMK

I don't think many have sold. It's my understanding that one has to gut a PS90 receiver for various parts in order to make the new widget function. YMMV.

it looks as if you just pop a barrel in on there and your good to go? if thats the case then that just brought ps90 to around a more affordable 700 dollars i think barrels are 399 from i forget the store but they have a link to them from somewhere on this forum.

Again, I'm pretty sure this is a bare-bones receiver. No internal springs, no release button, no charging handle. No stock assembly, no bolt, no hammer assembly, no magazine. And the obviously missing barrel and barrel nut (or shroud and flash hider.)

It is just a pain reciever, you still need all the springs and everything else from a stock reciever. I don't think that many have been sold. There aren't that many advantages over a stock PS90 reciever.

Seems like a slightly lower optic height vs a tri rail would be about it.

Really that does look like something an ad agent would do.

Actually my thinking when I first saw it was:

This might be an interesting receiver to register as an SBR. It certainly has a minimalist feel to it and with the shorty barrel it certainly would make a very compact carbine.

I guess the only issue I have with it is I actually have experience removing a barrel from a receiver and it was harder than I imagined it would be. By the time I was done, there were actual "Hack Sawed" parts laying around...........yikes!!!

Anyway, if you could buy all the springs and the release button and the cocking unit as well as a full length barrel and build one of these up from scratch it might make sense otherwise your gonna have to dismantle a working receiver. And like I said, a feat not left to amateurs.........

That is the conclusion I came to...
