I agree with the one trigger for both barrels comment - that would be sweet!

Is it just me or did they get this idea from the shotgun in HALO.

And the shotty from Halo is a single barrel design. Maybe you're thinking of the one from half-life?

Indded its half-life, I've played both 1 and 2... never could get the weird smoking guy or figure out exactly what was going on with that game... I love half-life, its so cool.

Yeah, its a double barrel with either 1 or 2 round fire select and its a pump.

Shotgun in HL is an over-under shotgun. But actually... :skep:

http://half-life.wikia.com/wiki/Combine_SPAS-12" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
"In real life, the SPAS-12 cannot fire 2 shots simultaneously, as it only has one barrel. In the case of Half Life 2, the ammunition tube on the bottom becomes the second barrel."

lol you really have no idea what is going on in HL? You need to play through it again, and play HL2:E1 and HL2:E2. The G-man is the ongoing secret in the game.

Well HL1 I played up until the game froze for some mysterious reason as soon as I figured out how to get out of the paralell universe... probably would have helped if I had continued on.

HL2 was just outstanding... the first half of the game when you're being hearded around like cattle reminds me of our current political situation.
