If wideners has wolf, then camp out on natchezz and grafs as they should have them within the next two days as well.

Locally the reloading store has everything- the fellow said the floodgates opened and suddenly the months of backorders all came in at once to fill the shelves. They're so busy they aren't taking time to fill internet orders. Famine and sudden feast. I'd guess everyone should be getting things in as well this week.

It's terrible around here. I can only find 1 pound containers of a very limited selection of powders, and primers...forget it. I got lucky and found all of my favorite powders in 4,5 and 8 pound containers at Wideners, and small rifle and small pistol primers at Natchez yesterday. Since I bought 30 pounds of powder at really good prices and 10,000 primers at reasonable prices, the hazmat charges did not seem so bad.

Not showing as 'In Stock', but......

Grafs called yesterday to say 1/2 of the order I placed April 1 was in and asked if I wanted it shipped. Hell yes. It will be an additional $20 hazmat fee for when the LP primers show up but at least I'm getting the SP primers Monday.

Maybe things are loosening up a bit, or maybe it was just my turn.

It seems to be getting a little better. I have been able to find most of what I need online. Large keks of powder seem to be more available, and I have seen a lot of primers made available this week by Federal and Wolf. Haven't seen ANY CCI's though.

My area is a real problem for supplies. It would seem as though no one reloads around here. I have to depend on mail order for most of my stuff. The only gun store within 15 miles only has 1 pound containers of powder, and a very limited selection at that.

That would be great if production is catching up. I still have cci primers on back order with cabela's (since April).

My local store has had single boxes of 100 on the shelfs for the last couple weeks... but I am interested more in the 1000 boxes.

I also saw that midway had gotten dpms full lowers instock for 275 and stripped lowers for 129 ..... Maybe by the end of the summer things will be caught up.

Get some!

Still waiting on 5K LP from Grafs......from April 1st. I call once in a while to make sure that the back order shows as open, it does.

Saw this at one vendor's site:
At this time we are not taking any new backorders for primers that are not listed here. We currently have over 50 million primers on backorder. If you currently have a backorder in place your order will be processed as primers become available. Once we begin receiving more primers from the manufacturers and are able to begin filling current backorders we will update the website.

Is there still that bad of a shortage?

In the past month I have seen small rifle, small pistol, large rifle, and large pistol in stock with "normal" pricing at two local dealers and a local gander mountain.

I haven't checked online much, but figure most of that is do to backorders being filled.

It probably depends a lot on where you are. Down here in America's grundle, the only thing to be found is shotshell primers and shotgun powders. OH, you're good to go if you need muzzle loading components, too.

It's pretty typical; you walk into the store, ask about primers, they laugh, ask you if you need shotshell primers, and you say no. They do have 1 pound of Hodgdon Varget though; it's 32 dollars. Then, you ask if they have any .22LR, they don't, you drive 3 hours to the CMP and they don't have any .22LR either, because everyone else had the same idea that you did.

Then you come home, find out that primers are in stock at Natchez, you put your order together, get all excited, your wife tells you it's ok to order them, and then you discover that they refuse to sell to your state and a few others.

You make a drink. Repeat weekly.

Wolly, I'm here in western KY where reloading is a plenty, so I was surprised to see the primers on shelf, even seeing a lot of ammo available as well with lower prices and prices on AR's/Ak's and the like have dropped as dealers have a lot more on shelf.

Both out of stock now. They seem to last about a day and a half right now at Midway. :ponder:
